One example is Mrs. Lussier who bring excitement and joy to a subject as boring as trigonometry with her "WOOHOO's" and her singing whenever there is a low in the class. Students find it not just funny but historical and often look at each other in confusion as to what the hell is she doing. Another teacher is Mrs. Pappas who is a serious teacher and doesn't joke around about the important information but has fun with her class at the same time. She also would make lessons easier for kids to understand and is willing to help anyone at after school. One of the best teachers at Brewster is Mr. Goumas a global and business teacher who has won best teacher three out of the past five years. One day in his class and you can see why he has won this award. He makes learning about topics like the french revolution easier to comprehend with him always going into such great detail about the topic. The last great example is Mr. LoAlbo who's not any ordinary english teacher. He creates fun assignments for his students to do as projects and homework. He is like no other english teacher out there, he talks to his students as if it were a collegiate class, he even calls essays papers making it seem not as boring. These are just some of the few examples of great teachers that Brewster has on its staff. Although without teachers like these Brewster would just be another prison for kids.

We played Knockerball with about 12 people for a friends birthday on East River Park! The guys were…read morethere early blowing up all the balls and when we all arrived we were ready to play! They brought music and items for games and helped us to have a really great time! It is EXHAUSTING running around in those balls. I took away a star because the balls kept losing air and needed to be refilled after games. The guys said they get new balls annually, so some of them were showing age I guess. We had a really good time, and it was a fun and different activity! Definitely worthwhile checking out with these guys!
