After making music for alittle over 3 years and learning as much as I could on YouTube vids and…read moreonline classes I decided to visit Matrix Sessions to see what this spot was all about. When I first met Brian I knew this school would be a good fit. He critiqued a few of our tracks and knew exactly what we needed to take our sound to the next level. We took a 3 month course on mixing and mastering and I swear every session we had was such an enlightening experience. There are secrets involved in producing today's music and I can tell you Brian knows all of them...tricks that aren't shown in vids on YouTube or online classes. We had an end goal to be able to mix and master all of our stuff at the end of the course but that was only a fraction of what we learned. I went from taking a month to produce a track from start to finish to a week which includes mixing and mastering. We improved our workflow tremendously. The whole staff is cool AF. Sole can pretty much do anything from the technical aspect of making tracks to producing music to mixing and mastering to helping market yourself with press kits...dude is a wizard. We bounce our tracks off Jimmy when we're in the studio and he always knows what we need to tweak to give the track that extra 10% of energy, shine, power, etc... Really glad we ran into these dudes. The friendly environment is welcoming to any producer at any level. If you're looking for that pro sound don't hesitate to join the Matrix Fam.
