We came on a weekday evening and there was no wait. The restaurant was about 30% full. They are located in Harrah's casino where the food court used to be. We had the Cajun pasta and steak frites. The Cajun linguine was delicious and had a kick but wasn't overly spicy. It had a nice amount of shredded chicken, shrimp, andouille sausage and red bell peppers. It had great flavor. The steak and fries were decent. We asked for medium rare and it was fine. I'm mixed about the rosemary being on the steak though as it masked the steak a bit. I also would have preferred mashed potatoes with steak as a steak with fries combo is a bit boring and dry. Dessert was a fail as the "warm" brownie we ordered was room temperature with ice cream on top which didn't do any melting. Service was nice. 3.5 stars. read more

To everyone; Be aware of stupidity at this restaurant. I eat at this Brews Brothers in Harrahs many times before. It's a pretty good restaurant for pizza and pasta and It's a convenient place and stays open to late night. Last week we with a party of 4 went there around 5:30 pm to catch an early dinner. To our surprise there was a wait. The host said it's about 40 minutes and I mentioned to her we were Seven Star Ceasar members. This status usually gives us some priority just like the airlines. We decided to wait since we were early. We waited just outside the host stand, a few steps away. At 40 minutes I went to check on our place in line. The host said 10 more minutes and we could be seated. About 15 minutes later I went up to check again. All the sudden, they all acted funny and the host had to call their supervisor. A taller host came out and said she called my phone and then called out for me and I didn't respond, so she canceled me. I told her, I didn't get a call on my phone and we were waiting right next to the stand. She continued to insist we did not respond so she canceled me. But immediately she realized I caught her lying, so she seated us immediately without an apology. I was so furious. The problem is the restaurant hires these young people who have little to zero experience and promote them to a Stupid-visor role and all they do is make excuses and blame the customer. I asked to speak to the general manager but they didn't call her. So decided to comment on social media instead. We usually stay at Harrah's when we're in town, so we decided to have breakfast here. I ordered a dish that had black beans, diced sausage, and an egg (can't remember the exact name), but unfortunately it came out watery, didn't look very appetizing, and just wasn't good. I tried to push through it, but after a few bites I had to send it back. I ended up ordering what my wife had--steak and eggs--and that was easily 10x better. The steak was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. While we were there, we noticed they had a happy hour menu with a decent percentage off, so we came back later that night. We ordered a pizza and a burger, and both were surprisingly good--especially for happy hour pricing. As for service, one server was really nice, but overall it felt like most of the staff were just going through the motions. The energy definitely picked up once the bill came, which was a little off-putting. That said, we'll be back for the food. read more

Start to finish, a great experience. It's a good looking restaurant, right inside the Harrah's door at the corner of Stateline and 50. The hostess was super friendly and accommodating, as was our waiter. First we had the Bavarian pretzel - I can't think of a better pretzel since one I had in Austria last year! Then we had grilled fish tacos... very tasty. Enough of a meal for the two of us to split. I've had (to go) their pizzas, both the pepperoni and the mushroom, and seriously, this pizza has the perfect saltiness, the perfect toppings/sauce to crust ratio. I'm someone who never eats the crust - and I eat every crumb of Brew Bros'. It will be a good place to go watch football soon: lots of large, new tv's that are prominent but don't overpower. I went here recently while in Tahoe and there were definitely some pros and cons. For breakfast I got pancakes eggs and sausage and its was pretty mid nothing special. However I tried my finances chilaquiles and those had a lot more flavor and would have been probably a better option. I also really enjoyed the Bloody Mary I got just we did not receive it until our meals came which was disappointing. We actually went again for dinner since nothing casual was really open that was around us. We split a burger that I thought was pretty good just didn't amaze me. I think this is a good spot for Tahoe and the area for a casual dinner/breakfast just there are probably some better options. read more

Just okay. Service is slow. Employees seem disinterested and their customer service matches. Bartender pretended to not notice we were gambling while we ate and he should have not charged us $40 for our drinks...hoping we wouldn't notice so he could get a better tip. Unprofessional and dishonest. Pizza is very disappointing...no substance and the entire crust was burned. We ate here 3 different times over our 5 days stay at Harrah's. Overall, it is good. Basic breakfast was solid, the Philly b-fast was a decent size miss though. Bland, messy to eat, and the paper on the bottom started mixing in with the sandwich. Lunch was good, pizza and French dip were also both good. The French dip surprised me about how tasty it was. Not huge but good enough size. Happy hour is good as well but not a ton of choices. But a pretty good $9 -1 topping pizza was plenty to share and a beer for $4.50 is dang good for Tahoe. We always had good service. Besides the Philly breakfast sandwich, the only other knock is the temperature. I like it cold but man, it was freezing every time in there. Am not sure when they opened but my 4 star review is partially based on a comparison with the American River Cafe which was in the same building, Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The salmon is good, fish taco Great. The French fries were sub par. The staff was very friendly. Shout out to Chris.! The real problem is that the portions are way too big. For breakfast there is a work around that involves ordering sides rather than a 'meal'. But this doesn't work for lunch or dinner. I decided to check my receipt, my grand total was $54.00!! WTH? For one breakfast with 2 extra eggs & OJ??? Turns out she charged me for four additional eggs and they automatically added an additional 15% tip to your TO-GO total which I didn't get to see this at signing because i was only given the credit card slip to sign not the detailed slip showing already forced tip of approx $5.50!! So not knowing this i give an additional tip of $3.00, they didn't tell me tip was already added to my total FOR A TO GO MEAL THAT THEY TOTALLY SCREWED UP!! Wrong on every level!! I can see forced tips for large parties but not TO-GO orders!!! Bulls**!! Then I proceed to head back to my room and realize they didn't even give me my $7.00 orange juice, come'on ladies!! And when you ask them to correct your order they seem all put out. So, fish and chips from first night was super good, kids chicken tenders good, eggs not good, potatoes and bacon were good along with sourdough toast, service & forced tips horrible! I highly recommend you check your receipt and your to-go orders before leaving the restaurant! Going to eat somewhere else rest of trip! We ordered the fish taco. Our previous experience eating this dish was at the Reno Brew Brothers. It was not what we expected. First the rice was like it had dried and re- stirred. This past week we stayed at Harrah's. We had a late lunch so we went here for a quick bite. We ordered ITALIAN CHICKEN MELT Rotisserie chicken, fontina cheese, roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions, arugula, lemon-chive aioli, pickled giardiniera This is from the menu. Bryan was our server , and when the sandwich came out it was full of the giarduniera we had asked for it on the side. We also had an issue with the heavily seeded bread it was on hubby can't have these. So we showed Bryan the sandwich, he was great he said I will fix it and even change the bread great. Nate the manager on duty , we called him over and explained to him what was happening and to no fault of Bryan it wasn't what we expected. A melt is usually a hot sandwich this one everything was ice cold and seriously tasted gross. Nate without hesitation comped our sandwich. We were willing to pay for it even though it wasn't good. Bartender at the bar with the tattoos on his neck is not a good bartender. Really cocky and rude. Been there 2 times and he has the same attitude. Even a random person came up and said the same thing to my boyfriend. Definitely wont be back! We will just keep going back to Reno instead. Service was fast, prompt and on the ball... our beverages were never empty food was hot and very tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. My sandwich (philly) was DELICIOUS and my son had the loaded fries and they were very tasty as well... I had a local IPA that was cold and good.
