kinda torqued off about what should have been a 90-minute drive becoming four hours of wheel time…read morebecause AlphaBetCo started off showing me this venue right up 77 not way out west... but the map is only as useless as the folks publishing it so there's that :-\ the actual real life place is pretty impressive to behold: wall of glass is pleasingly reflective during the day but at night the lights shine through displaying the two-story lobby in all it's glory. our hotel backed up to the property so after dropping my lovely bride at the will call I went back and parked and walked over... yeah common sense! clean and nicely appointed upstairs and down, elevator or stairs to make the switch so you can come or go as you please. couple of snack bars on the main floor, and another for the balcony. no beer, no wine, just coffee and sodas and popcorn and stuff like that at reasonable prices so find your seat and relax... seats are a bit narrow but not horribly so, a gentle reminder to drop a couple dozen or so kilos :-\ acoustics are good and I can't imagine a bad seat in the house except the guy running the sound board tonight missed it "by-that-much" since the talky parts were fine but the occasional singy bit got clipped from the program... restrooms could use a little more room but that holds true of all venues... still not a bad night out and I got to sit in the balcony holding hands with my best girl all night :-)

Great venue. Awesome local theater and great entertainment. Perfect size and all the seats are good.read more

Our first time to this amazing theater. "The Scarlet…read morePimpernel" Thank you to the amazing direction, writing, set, costumes, lighting...the entire use of the stage and flow from one scene to another was delightful and engaging. The acting was excellent. Everyone in the cast kept character even when in the background. The main cast was powerfully on target and very believable and enjoyable. The supporting cast was able to bring the whole stage to life. Did i mention how much I enjoy it? Lastly, all the voices were powerful and right on key. I wish we would have known of this theater these many years of us visiting Greenville. If you can catch a production...do it. You will get your money's worth and leave with a smile. Did I mention it was clean, well written and better than most Broadway offerings today! Well done, keep it up! New very comfortable seats too!

This was not our first experience with the Logos Theatre but it was an excellent and highly…read morerecommended experience. We attended the Saturday matinee of the Prince Caspian production. It was outstanding. This production was a first ever stage screenplay written based on the C.S. Lewis Narnia character. I was amazed at the quality of the production and in particular the puppetry and the intricate scene changes. Having seen productions on Broadway as well as in Los Angeles and Toronto and even the traveling Broadway series a our local Peace Center, I can say that the Logos production can proudly stand side by side with these venues, losing nothing in terms of the production, execution and talent. The facility and seats are different, of course, but I cannot say enough how impressed we were. Highly recommended and very well done.

The stage is the perfect size for the venue and there is a good view regardless of where you sit. The lobby has snacks and drinks for great prices. The food was delicious and included prime rib, grilled vegetables, meat and cheese wraps, a cheese tray with probably 10 varieties of cheese and accompaniments, bread, crudité, and some sweets. There were drinks of all kinds and some lighter fare offered in the concession area also. Unlike most theaters, the food and drink can be taken into the performance. The show was two hours with an intermission and I brought a soft drink back for the second half. The show was wonderfully acted and well-presented by all technical and back stage staff. The staff and ushers at the theater were very friendly and helpful too. They told me---more than once---that they were grateful for my support of the arts. I'm glad they were there, and hope they remain so for many seasons to come. Bravo, to all!
