I have had the Shock Doctors to my house twice in the past two years. Last fall they rewired my…read morebasement. They gave me an exact quote, no surprises, and did an exceptional job. This past week I suddenly only had power to half of my electrical outlets (unrelated to the work they did). It was 10 p.m. and I called to leave a message to ask for a look in the morning. We had no furnace or fridge, but I knew that we would be alright overnight. I had a call back immediately from Chadwick, who was most concerned that we were okay, and was more than willing to come right away to check the issue. I assured him that first thing in the morning would be fine. He was there at 7 a.m. on the dot, quickly diagnosed that we were only drawing 120 volts, called the utility for us, stayed while the utility workers located the issue atop the hydro pole in the neighbour's yard, and made sure that we had full power before he left. This all cost us a grand total of $99 ($88 plus tax which is the base price for a service call). More than reasonable for the prompt and conscientious service we received. I highly recommend these fellows.
