We have an old house with a lot of quirky wiring. Over a few days, he sorted through it all and updated circuits, installed outdoor and garage lighting, installed garage door opener wiring and thermostats for baseboard heaters. He kept us apprised of the required work and gave options. All the work was done professionally. Smithfield Electric will be our go-to for electrical work from now on.

Bower electrical company installed all the electrical in our new home. They are the most dishonest…read morecompany I have ever come across In my life. We have only been in the home five years. We have had nothing but problems with all our electrical and lights flashing on and off. Not to mention fuses blowing out all over the house. After getting an electrical professional in, we realized that this company tied the electrical outlets and the lighting outlets into one 15 amp circuit. The entire house is done this way. It did pass inspection, and is considered legal to do so if certain criteria is met. However, it is considered dishonest and unethical to do this. We paid for larger amps in the beginning but this company wanted to make a bigger profit and changed things up in the end. When I called to try to get a resolution to this, I was told not to call their office again and that the house was not under warranty. The only thing I can do now is to tell everybody in the town of Pagosa Springs Colorado. Do not use these people, you will regret it.
