Do not buy any beach chairs or lounging chairs from them. Horrible. Cheap. The wire came out. Towels, clothing, and little souvenirs? Perfect. But I'm pissed. Never again. I was staying at the resort next door and I went to buy something with my daughter. We were looking at the table with all the shirts and the employee came over towards where we were acting suspiciously. I left the area because I felt "watched" we left the table and came back to see if maybe it was a misunderstanding, but no she came right back to where we were "pretending" to fold or look like she was doing something. After that we only purchased a few items but I will try another gift shop to get the shirts I was trying to get for my family. My recommendation to this place is if a sale is at all important to yall let people shop comfortably without "passively harassing" them! I will never come back here! read more

Purchased a pair of Shark Rescue sunglasses on 08/18/24 for $24.99. Within three weeks the glasses showed heavy oxidation on the lenses, and are unusable; however, were only worn a few times. I attempted to exchange the Shark Rescue sunglasses as their construction/quality is poor. The manager informed me that Breeza does not exchange after 7 days even in the event of defect. I am not tourist. I am a local to the island. I wanted to support local and my community businesses. I respectfully informed the manager that I would not return to do further business with Breeza and that I would advise friends/family and post this review. The manager offered the standard non authentic apology and claimed to have no ability to assist. Next step. I will contact my credit card company and request a chargeback for the defective, poor quality product. Breeza has more than one location, be warned, the company does not stand behind the quality or their products. read more

Buyer Beware Be careful buying from this place. We bought a long sleeve t shirt for my son (24.00) and realized when we got home (Dallas) that the coloring on the shirt sleeve was faded quite a bit (the shirt was hot pink). On the sleeve it was almost a bleached out area. Also there was a UPC and price scanned onto the shirt, like the price scanner misfired and scanned onto the shirt. My wife realized this early this AM and called them (we bought it yesterday). The lady she spoke with told her that she was aware that the shirt was defective - but we needed to pay shipping to send it back. She did not even offer to pay shipping (on a 24.00 shirt). no outside signs stating no public restroom. asked very politely for our 2 year old to be able to use the restroom as she was about to not be able to hold it. was given a very snobby no public bathroom, explained child may not be able to hold it resulting in a mess. they brushed it off. when asked how the are above any local or state laws bathroom requirements I was told oh well, while the helper briley was informing other customers I instructed my child to pee on the floor. asked workers where they go potty during there shift thinking it would be close by and was informed they don't know. so not sure how they hold it!! read more

Went looking for a swimsuit top that is sized in cup sizes. Some of us girls have a tough time finding a suit top that fits around the rib age without all the fluff falling out. They did have some, with interchangeable bottoms - ranging from B-DD, no DDD. They are made in China sooo they're not exactly USA equivalent in sizing. Had a limited selection and styles - prices were very reasonable and the store clerks were super friendly. This place is a great souvenir stop for tourists! This is one of two locations in Galveston. Located in a shopping center, it offers plenty of room and trinkets to browse at your leisure. There's a lot of things here that you may have forgotten to buy -- beach towels, sandals, skin boards, sun screen etc. There's also some fun souvenirs, some more adult themed ones as well as fun ones for the kids. There's plenty of Galveston t-shirts and other apparel. You can also buy sea shells, sand dollars, and even a dried up puffer fish hanging from a string to remind you of the ocean. The most interesting thing I thought was shark jaw skeletons. That would look great on the fireplace. Heh. There's of course your standard shot glasses, glass paper weights, and ash trays, as well as various toys for the kiddies. You can even buy a live hermit crab with carrier, though their holding tank is in desperate need of a cleaning. Definitely check it out if you are visiting. read more

Beware of item's priced on the rack which are not honored at the register even by the store manager. My family has shopped at Wings often. Today's event occurred during off-peak season where many items were priced with sign's on top of the racks indicating sale items. We were careful when considering any items that were marked down to be sure someone had not placed an article there that didn't belong. One such article was a ladies shirt that my daughter picked out along with other items. I pointed this particular item out at the register and was told that the price on the rack must not be correct because the barcode at the register reflected a different price. I explained that this item was not a one off placed there by accident by another customer as there were plenty there and the rack was clearly marked with a sign top. The person assisting me turned out to be the manager. He said that didn't matter and was not selling the shirt for that price. I politely asked him to go with me to confirm what I was saying. He refused and said there was no way he would sell me the shirt for that price regardless. I left the items we intended to purchase on the counter and went shopping somewhere else. This was a real poor experience to have while on vacation and I wanted to share this so that others would beware. read more

I was really disappointed in Wings yesterday. I bought a brand new umbrella and took it straight to the beach. We didn't even have it open all the way yet and it was completely broke. The wires were bent and twisted. The umbrella barely opened and then with the slightest breeze, it completely flipped inside out. We couldn't even take it back to the store to return because sharp wires kept stabbing us while we were trying to carry it. From the time we got on to the beach, to the time we had to throw it away, was MAYBE 10 minutes... and less than 15 minutes after we left the store. read more

This is a convenient beach store on the Seawall. It has so many different items; sunbrellas, swimsuits, beach clothes, sandals, shells, sunscreen, henna tattoos, souveniers, the list goes on and on. The store is still well laid out for having so many items. The prices are decent and even better when you score something from one of their many sales or off the clearance rack. Avoid this place. Had the worst experience. The people that work there are rude, and the manager that i dealt with is a liar. They lie about pricing and are rude when confronted about their shady system. In addition, the place is dirty, smells bad. I had to use the bathroom and omg was that disgusting. Interesting that the review 15days ago said they were impressed by their mask policy. I went in, and immediately saw a staff member with her mask by her chin. She walked towards me and I backed away and asked her to put her mask on. Then I saw 2 groups of people in the store without masks. As I was quickly leaving, I mentioned this to one of the staff, who quite rudely said it wasn't law. While walking around the Strand earlier in the day, I tried on quite a few wide-brimmed hats in one of the shops, but bought nothing because my husband was giving me that "you are going to wear THAT" look. A few hours later he wants to go walk on the beach?! At that point I'd had enough of the sun shining directly on my face and decided to run by this shop since it was close to our hotel. Well they had the same cute hats and at a lower cost (25-50% cheaper)! This spot also has just about anything else you could want for the beach. I almost bought a swim suit since I didn't bring mine, but then I remembered that I wouldn't swim in that nasty water anyway! Purchased an LOL Doll from this gift shop and it was FAKE!!! They are selling counterfeit products.They had the front counter full of these LOL boxes! All of which are fake! My poor niece was frightened by the doll after opening it! It smelled so bad when she opened it! It smelled like a super strong plastic smell! They should not be selling fake merchandise!!!! Great location at about the middle of The Seawall close to The San Luis and Ft Crockett Park. Well organized and clean. This place has everything that u may need for a trip to the beach. Not the place for super high end swim wear etc but good stuff, huge selection and very reasonable prices. Not my favorite shop on the Isle but still gets three stars. This is THE ONLY place to buy souveniers on Galveston Island. It was so inexpensive and yet had lots of stuff that was good quality. They also offered henna tatoos which I thought was cool. The only bad thing about them was their bathroom! It was TERRIBLE!!!!! They had ugly blue paint on the walls, dirty toilet and sink, soap in a huge industrial sized container sitting on the floor and no towels or hand dryer. Sharks in a jar brought me here on my most recent trip. My beau's little sister was interested in seeing them, and so we made a stop. Generally, the have about anything you would need for a day at the beach if you left something at home....swimsuit, towel, sand castle making gear, etc. Other than that there is mainly the tourist vibe from things here. She saw me looking (over and over) at some of the outfits and gave me a half off deal on the one I wanted. Yayyyy! The owner is super friendly and seems interested in his customers.
