I was in the area after driving from Minneapolis to visit Fargo, ND. Unfortunately for me I sneezed…read morewrong and got a kink in my neck and shoulder area. My 3 hour drive to ND was exceptionally uncomfortable due to the pain. In a pinch I found this spa and requested a 30 min massage focusing primarily on my neck, back, and backside of my legs. I can't remember her name, but she gave me owner vibes - was amazing and did as much as anyone could to get me right. No way I would have been able to get to 100% right but I did feel so much better and was able to turn my head with more ease for my drive back to Minneapolis. I tend to really like deep and strong pressure and she gave me exactly that. If you are in the area I recommend considering this place especially if you need work done in a pinch. Pricing appeared to be similar to other spots in the area. It doesn't look advertised specifically on their website or on Yelp but they do offer 30 minutes services so if you're again looking for something quick and effective, I would definitely look to go to this place.

I said yes, because you are $110/hr. Horrible! Don't waste your money! All I really wanted was a foot massage and the owner said it was included in the only massage package they offered. Guess what? I never received a foot massage at all. My husband in another room decided to walk out before his massage was finished, because it was so pathetic. I seriously don't think these ladies had any schooling for massages. Possibly just paid for a fake license. That is how bad it was.

The massage was way overpriced ($160 for a 90min, if I remember right). I wanted a Swedish massage, something good and relaxing, but Ruby gave me more of a hardcore shiatsu massage -- lots of elbows, forearms, and fists -- with inconsistent pressure (typically on the higher side) and a speed that made me think she was hurrying to finish it -- right from the get-go. The girls are pretty much money-grubbers, too. I paid the receptionist before the start of the massage, and she held her hand out for more money. I told her that I don't tip until after the massage. And I was planning on tipping Ruby $30 (yeah, too much for what I got) but only had twenties on me, so I gave her $40. She then told me what she thought she was worth for tips: $20 per half hour -- $60. I figured, "Oh well," because that's the very last money that Ruby and Far East will ever get from me.
