My ex boyfriend and I were experiencing challenges pertaining to codependency with his ex and fears of losing his daughter. I suggested couples counseling which he was not interested in pursuing until after I ended the relationship. After I had done research and presented the options, he backed out.  In my search I came across Harrison Barritt's bio.  My intuition told me we/I needed to work with him.  I had a special interest in his experience with Integrated Kabbalistic Healing since I am a new student of Kabbalah.  I had done therapy in the past with a few therapists - all with a different approach - and could have returned to my previous therapist but decided to follow my intuition and pursue a limited number of sessions with Harrison. After the first session I knew I made the right decision and within my first 2-3 sessions I felt a tremendous transformation taking place. I have a tendency to provide a lot of details, which can monopolize a therapy session. Harrison has a way of respectfully redirecting to get to the point - uncovering the root of the issue(s) with his deep insight - without needing to waste time so that the real work + healing can begin.  People waste years in "talk therapy," being validated and not making much progress.  Harrison is a true leader with great wisdom, insight, and humor.  You will get the results you are seeking whether you have a growth-oriented mindset or not. Incorporating IFS and doing the exercises given by Harrison will bring more awareness to your Parts and Self.  I've been raving about him to my family and friends.  I intended on only doing 5 sessions, but since I have found so much value in this POWERFUL work I plan to continue with Harrison on an as needed basis.  My only disappointment is that my ex changed his mind.  I think it would have been really healing to do this work together. read more
