Old school ride that has existed for as long as I can remember. It predates the newer Kentucky kingdom and existed at the original Kentucky kingdom and when six flags took over for a bit. The rides itself is basically like other rides known as "caterpillar" on that it pushes toy forward in a hilly/bumpy circle at high speeds and then it will reverse and take you backwards at high speeds. The ride has always been set to upbeat popular music that blares loudly. The seats can fit up to 2-3 people. Overall this is a pretty fun ride and if there isn't a long line the operator will let you go for quite a bit. If I'm being honest this is a 4 star thrill ride. However, because of the nostalgic and great memories I have here it's a 5 star to me personally. I can remember being a child and being excited or bummed depending what songs played during the ride. Simpler times for sure.

Instead of old time cars (Kentucky kingdom does have an old time tin Lizzie in main portion of park) this has monster trucks. Like Tin Lizzie themed rides it follows a predetermined track and goes on a small circle. This being in the toddler/kiddie section of the them park it is a tiny track. However it does the trick. The little ones appear to enjoy it and get excited to "drive" and actual monster truck.

Deep water Dive is an intense, nerve racking and very fun body slide ride at the hurricane bay…read moreportion of Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky. This massive body slide is one of the worlds largest and is 12 stories tall and features a 377 foot drop with 121 feet of it coming at a 70 degree angle. I've rode this body slide multiple times and each time it doesn't get any less nerve inducing. First off you climb an insane amount of steps. For those who count steps you will get them by riding this ride. At the top you have a platform that offers beautiful views of the city and park. However on some days with a slight wind you will sway back and forth which adds to the thrill and unsettling feeling. The workers put you in a plastic tube casing and you stand up against a backboard with your arms and feet crossed. Below your feet's is a clear see through floor that will momentarily be removed from underneath you. As stated the first half of this slide is practically straight down. So if you fear heights do not look down. The machine has a 3...2...1 countdown but that isn't what triggers the floor being opened. The operators hit a button so there is no timing and bracing yourself for the fall. Some workers have some fun with it and drop you at different parts or pretend it's stuck and then let you fall. They of course still make sure you are in there properly and safe. The drop itself will literally take your breath away. Most of the time by time I can recollect my thoughts or breath I'm on the backstretch at high speeds and water is splashing me in the face. I personally love this ride. The epitome of a thrill ride. As stated Above. If you or your little ones do not do heights or scare easy then this isn't for you. It's no fun climbing the steps and I can imagine it wouldn't be fun climbing back down if you get up there and decide against it (happens a lot). The ride itself does have a min height requirement of 48 inches and max weight of 300lbs. It is a single rider so you are by yourself. The first time I took my kids alone I was stuck with "do I go first and hope they don't chicken out or do I go second and hope they don't freak out at the bottom or wander off". So just some things to consider before riding. Overall 5 star experience for me. Fun, thrilling and my absolute favorite water park attraction in the hurricane bay section. If they got me an elevator lift to the top id be more inclined to ride it back to back to back.

This attraction at Kentucky kingdom in Louisville Kentucky has existed through all three phases of the park going from the original Kentucky kingdom to six flags to the newly reopened Kentucky kingdom a few years ago. Obviously not much of a thrill ride. But it's nice and peaceful and fun for the little ones. Must be 48 inches to "drive" all others must be passengers. I have some find memories of this from being barely older than a toddler mused to seeing my kids ride this attraction. During my teen years I can remember some scandalous kids who would flip the kill switch by the mirror in the middle of the track to say it broke down so they could get to the front of the line on another popular roller coaster attraction. I think they finally got hip to that many years ago. But it's still a fun little anecdote and memory I have of kids always trying to pull. Looking back there now way they workers didn't know what we was really doing. Overall cool feature that's a classic staple at theme parks for a reason.

It was originally built in 1995 that has top speeds of 49 mph and reaches heights of 101 ft. The track length is 2,172 ft. Height requirements are min of 52 inches and max of 79 inches. Growing up in Louisville Kentucky kingdom was a big part of my childhood. I had season passes as early as I can remember and T3 being built 1995 I was around 11 years old when this ride debuted. I can remember being really excited for it when it came out. A roller coaster that does flips and your feet dangle? I was sold from day one. Overall it was a fun ride then and a fun ride now. Has solid speed, fun loops and brings some nostalgic feelings to me personally. I'm really glad that when Kentucky kingdom reopened after being shut down that they kept this ride here.

Why is T3 getting such a high rating well there is a really good reason for it which I'll explain…read morewhy because it totally deserves it! T3 is more or less known as a Vekoma SLC pretty much the most hated coaster amongst coaster enthusiasts as it's known for bashing your head back and forth between the restraints leaving you with a splitting headache but that's not the case here! This Vekoma SLC has over the shoulder straps connected to a lap bar so it takes away from that head bashing that we all love soo much that element alone is something I haven't found on any other Vekoma SLC in the United States! T3 has a super fun layout and it's a good coaster for the type that it is with just the restraints alone it's definitely in my opinion the best SLC out there as it has gotten rid of the head pain! Overall i don't think I've said this before about this type of coaster but I'll definitely look forward to my next ride on T3 because it's just that awesome!

This is a classic and fun ride. Super fast with great hills and drops. At one point this was one of the fastest wooden coasters in the world. As a youngster I can remember waiting in line over and over again to ride this. At one point it was the top attraction for the park. My parents would never ride as they said it "beats the **** out of you". I never quite understood that until I rode it again a few years ago with my kids. I see what they were saying now. I Definetly felt it. Still loved the ride and had fun but I won't ride it 10 times in a row anymore unless I want to be airlifted out of bed the next morning. Overall still one of my favorite roller coasters ever. So much memories and nostalgia when I come to the park to ride this attraction. Absolutely worth checking our for fans of coasters or thrill rides.

Out of all the rides at Kentucky Kingdom in my opinion this is the most intense one. Pretty fun ride that is somewhat newer. I do not remember this ride existing at previously owned Six flags Kentucky Kingdom. Pretty sure they opened once they relaunched the park a few years ago. Other then roller coasters this ride is one to visit if you like thrills and aren't afraid of heights or being dumped upside down. Personally I'm a fan and enjoy this ride a lot.

Enter Chance Rides, which somehow managed to fit the airtime of a 200 foot hyper coaster into this 100 foot coaster, Lightning Run. And Lightning Run doesn't just deliver airtime on the first drop, but constantly throughout its course, all the way to the final brake run. It is just so surreal to feel this amount of airtime coming from a coaster only 100 feet tall, but it is also so very exhilarating. That makes Lightning Run not only a must-ride, but a coaster you will want to ride again and again, first to marvel at how such a small coaster can deliver such amazing airtime, and again because you can't get enough of that airtime.

Located towards the front entrance of the park and it is the first coaster you will approach. Very fun coaster. Has good speed, nice hills and turns and good length to it. Isn't too rough of you as you are buckled in tightly as Well. Overall one of the best coasters in this park (I'd probably put 3rd behind the classics t3 and thunder run)
