I was dying to feed my mitochondria with a delicious salad and this place popped up. I ordered the pacific coast in a bowl (I bet in bread it would have been better) I ordered champagne vinaigrette with chicken, but this salad was chopped up so much that it was flavorless. I was looking for the zing of artichoke hearts and vinegar, but it just didn't work for me. The name is really catchy so decided to try them, I picked the Atlantis its was Ok, wasn't the best I had or the worst just fit right somewhere in the middle. What really suck is the line! Do not go on a Friday or Saturday, you will be waiting so long that saying forget it and walking away will be on your mind, Seems that this joint is understaffed, the few that are preparing the salads seem to either be new or don't know what their doing. Good food, but bad customer service. Today I've ordered online. When was time to pick up, my wife went there and the order was not ready. My wife had to call me back and I had to send the receipt to her. After waiting, they said that the order was already made and they gave it to someone else. what?! there was a name for pick up (my wife's name is quite unusual). This is a great place to eat lunch. The idea of stuffing a salad into a hot crunchy roll is awesome. This is a great place, but if you come during lunch there will be a long line. Make sure to ask for the insides (the inside of the bread), then you can sop that soft bread up with a cup of soup which is also excellent. The Broccoli Cheddar is very good, but really heavy, you could probably take it home, cut it with some water and make some extra soup. read more

We (a group of friends visiting Dallas for the weekend) stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a quick lunch. What a great find! It is a unique take on a salad bar (or is it a sandwich shop?). Everything was super fresh, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I chose a Zeppelin (that is a sandwich, as opposed to just the salad), specifically the Metropolitan Cobb. It was delicious, not only because of the fresh ingredients, but also because all of the Zeppelins are made with a hot toasty baguette that is essentially hollowed out and filled in with the salad you selected. It is such a creative idea, but despite the fact that it is a novelty, it is also just good food. I highly recommend! read more

Tried for the first time Sunday and I enjoyed every bite I got a 16oz salad bowl Romain, spinach, carrots, cucumbers, feta, grilled chicken, corn, couple others I can't think of but for my dressing I did olive oil. On a strict diet for medical reasons and it's been hard to find places to eat. This was an amazing spot to have a chance to not have to cook. The staff was very helpful and nice! Tried this for the first time, as a visitor to the Dallas area. Great concept that combines a salad lunch with bread but minus the extra carbs. Veggies appeared very fresh, was freshly chopped at time of customized order, and stuffed into a hollowed out toasted baguette. Results is a very filling salad-sandwich that is easy to take on the go. Would have been better if the bread were fresh off the toaster and still warm. Okay, first of all, who is supposed to know that a "zeppelin" is a sandwich when ordering on Uber Eats if it is listed under "salads"? There is no drop-down option for salad and it's literally the "salads" section. We ordered two salads and instead received two sandwiches and an order of sass. The order was not fixed. Being on a diet, means you're limited to what you can eat. My boyfriend and I came across this restaurant while in downtown. Honestly, I wasn't craving a salad, but when we walked in I was excited to see all the endless toppings and possibilities for salad. My diet didn't have to be a plain boring salad, instead I could choose from many toppings. The salad bowl was huge for me, and I didn't finish it. I came here while I was visiting Dallas and the line was really long but it moves pretty quickly because there are so many people working. The food was SO GOOD and it was probably the best salad that I have ever had because there were so many different options to choose from. My only disappointment was that they wouldn't let me choose the kids option, but that was okay. read more

At my work, people were raving about Bread Zeppelin, so I decided to put in an order. I am by no means a salad person, but the concept of a salad in a sandwich I think is ingenious. Bread Zeppelin hollows out fresh small baguettes and fills it with salad and salad toppings. The balance of ingredients was good with plenty of protein and not too much dry lettuce and the flavor combinations are great and customizable with so many ingredients and dressings. I was struck by all of the combinations- they have sandwiches for the classic Ceasar fan ranging to all sorts of salad layers and classics like the southwest, which is what I ordered. Everything was light and great for lunch. There is a good balance of ingredients but the bread it what really makes it. Lots of notes of cheese- lime juice is there but not too strong- strong cheese flavor and it was filling/good portion and everyone around me was happy. read more

They got some no manner hood rats working there that give customers attitude (not the Hispanic guy though he is the ONLY friendly person there on weekends). Service here is horrible! I was ordering a salad and a sandwich. As I was reading off the instructions for the salad he rudely interrupts me to ask what kind of sandwich all the time putting the wrong cheese on the salad. He sends me down the line and I continue with the order. When I said substitute a different cheese, he said he can't remove the cheese he hastily put on there as I was trying to tell him not to. This guy was older Latino with a beard and some grey hairs. There were 2 younger Latinos there too that he was trying to impress by being a jerk I guess. He then said too late I have to buy a second salad now because it was my fault for not telling him to substitute a diff cheese. Can you believe this clown! Anyways, be careful because he thinks he's fast and will throw stuff in your salad before you can stop him then blame you for it. He shouldn't have this job if he's going to have an attitude and not "LISTEN" when a customer makes an order. Customer service skills...ZERO. This guy would be better as a lube tech with Kwik Kar where he doesn't have to communicate with the public. I won't ever go back to this place again and will tell all my friends and family to avoid it too. Staff is green, doesn't know how to make the standard recipes, and hollows out the zepplins excessively to the point where the fillings fall out. Yes, it's a weird concept, stuffing a baguette with chopped salad. But it is good, very good, and customizable enough to satisfy anyone. You pick your ingredients, they chop 'em up, mix in the dressing, and stuff the very crusty bread with it, and that's pretty much it. I'll start out by saying my terrible experiences have been during their dinner shifts. I've heard the lunch shifts are a better experience. I like going here because it's a healthy option within walking distance. The service is terrible. There is never more than a couple of people in line and yet the avg wait time to get a salad is about 15-20 minutes. This isn't an isolated event. They know how to make salads taste good. I build my own salad bowl and usually ask for the bread on the side. The bread has always been fresh and warm and their bread pudding is delicious also. So I stopped by bread zeppelin today before work. OMG can I say I was disappointed. Friendly staff as always but a big disappointment with the soup today. Broccoli and cheddar soup is a classic so to ruin this you just didn't have love for the soup. Called in and spoke with Gilbert the manager on duty and he showed no sympathy that I had a unpleasant experience. I told him that the soup was very runny and I wasn't happy. His response was bring back the soup and I'll give you your money back. No concern as to what the problem was with the soup. He explained to me that all of the ingredients were in the soup but still no response to my bad experience. Not a sorry just a I don't care response. WOW for a new restaurant this is not how you want to treat your customers who could potentially bring new costumers to your restaurant. As for the salads reminds me of rabbit food. We went yesterday which was Sunday. My husband went in first because he had to use the restroom he had just finished golfing. We were parking the car and soon followed him in the restaurant which was totally empty. We went to place our order and my husband asked for the manager. Evidently a female walked in on him in the restroom to tell him the facility is for paying customers only. The problem was she is the manager and did not wait until he was done to address this. We are from out of town and this was not a good first impression. At first she denied it then she dismissed all of us by writing on her clipboard and ignoring us. She never apologized and that should had been her first response then she could have explained the store policy. Because of her lack of professionalism we did not eat there. We went to Luck and had a delicious meal with excellent customer service. So ORDER before going to their restroom!!!!!! read more
