Great salads, but long lines during lunch. The staff, although great and friendly, could be optimized to make the lines go faster.

Nice concept! I had the buffalo chicken salad sandwich and it was a great portion! The lines can get long but they move relatively fast! If you work downtown, give this a try! read more

Really fresh and an interesting take on salads and sandwiches. I thought it was a little on the bland side, maybe from everything getting all chopped up and mixed together, but I do appreciate the assortment and quality of the vegetables. The bread is also really, really good. The line doesn't move particularly fast. Still, it's a really nice, fresh, healthy lunch option. read more

I had the broccoli cheddar soup and it was fantastic. It was creamy, cheesy, and the broccoli had just the right amount of crunch. My friends had the salads and the zeppelins and said they were also excellent. The downtown location was clean, and the seating was nice. I will definitely be going back. read more

In the famous tale "the Tortoise and the Hare", a slow, lumbering tortoise plods through a race and beats an agile rabbit who got lazy and fell asleep. In the real world, this lunch spot is the Tortoise. And the only way they are beating anyone in a race is if the opponent is not only asleep, but comatose. I literally cannot understand how a place can be so inefficient. Yes it can get crowded. Guess what - any decent lunch spot in midtown Manhattan is swamped at lunchtime. And yet I can be in, out, and back at my desk in well under 10 mins. To call this place slow would be an insult to slow tortoises everywhere. read more

I've been a regular here for lunch for years. I've easily ordered 100+ salads. Lately the people working here don't give you any attention and just make online orders. I've had to wait 5-10 minutes without anyone in line for them to put dressing on my salad so I can checkout. I might give this place one more chance but they should care just as much about the people waiting in front of them as they do about having a pick up ready. read more

Solid salad bowl. It's huge, I think I bought two lunches which for the price is great. BYO is under $8, mine was over because I added avocado. Everything was chopped up so good and the dressing was distributed evenly, loved those two factors. Fresh ingredients! Wish we had one in Kentucky. read more

I love places like this. Made to order salad bowls are a perfect quick meal thats also on the healthy side. Good food, fun staff, have been a few times. read more

Very clean location, even after they got hit for rush hour. If you've never seen their lines for lunch, they are INSANE. So if you can, visit outside of 11am-2pm on weekdays for a more relaxed environment. It's conveniently placed at the corner of Main St & Field in Downtown Dallas. There's a lot of seating here...almost 4 times the seating found at the MacArthur location. The staff is kind and the salads of course are always amazing! read more

Made my own salad, which came out amazing! The food tasted fresh. Can't complain about the customer service. They were very helpful and made sure my order was exactly how I wanted it to be. read more

This place was off the chain. It was my first visit, and now i am love. Fresh ingredients, polite workers, just awesome. I will be visiting this place a lot more read more

Love Bread Zeppelin! Definitely a crowd pleaser for lunch, be sure to get there early to miss the rush. Probably not as healthy as they bill it to be, but oh so delicious. read more

My first time trying this place was amazing! Perfect protein to salad ratio with exquisite flavor!

This place was fine. I will not go back until I have exhausted all of my other food options or it happens to be the only place open. The concept is cool, unique, etc., but the food - I ordered a salad - was just not totally there. I may be judging it a bit based on the person who prepped my order and simply didn't understand that concept of offering suggestions to newbies when asked. It literally blew her mind that I asked for a dressing recommendation. She mentioned ketchup at one point... good luck. read more

I tried Bread Zeppelin just the other day and absolutely devoured my Southwest Zeppelin. You can choose to be boring and get your average salad in a bowl or you can be adventurous and try their salad stuffed in a 'hollowed out' fresh baked artisan baguette. My mouth is salivating just thinking about it. I will say that the customer service wasn't exactly the greatest, which is a shame because that plays a big part in repeat customers. However, my meal was delicious and I will be back... despite the unhappiness of the cashier! 4/5 recommend! read more

Food is good but prep time is oh so sloooooowwwwwwwww. If you have an eternity to spare, definitely go to this place for salads and yummy sandwiches. I only had to wait 2 hours for delicious food. read more

Had a nice dining experience, my Zeppelin was very tasty and drink too. I will be back and I recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new for salads and make it into a sandwich. read more

Walked in like, "Yaaass!" This place is so rad I can't stop talking about it. They take a salad (Pacific Beach w/ Greek is my fave), chop it up, and then shove it in a hollowed out TOASTED French baguette. There is nothing short of a sandwich miracles happening up in here. The baguette is warm and flakey and since it's been hollowed out, you don't feel like you're eating a ton of bread. That's usually my bone to pick with sandwiches (too much bread and not enough insides) but not here! Love love love. Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful. Each team member has gone above and beyond to help me find a killer zeppelin combo. They are very careful and take time to make sure they add just enough of whatever you want. Side note: some of them were actually so careful it made me think that maybe they had dealt with a difficult customer who got upset with them... Then I saw this woman in line hold up her perfect salad and inspect it like a dirty sock she just found on the floor and make some complaint about how it didn't look the same as she ordered it last time. Her tone was harsh and criticizing. Her body language was stubborn and rude. Please everyone be nice to these beautiful sandwich angels behind the counter! I promise that they will do everything they can to make you the most perfect lunch. We could all use a little more kindness in our day and that can only start with ourselves. Peace, love and happy sandwiching! read more

Great salads with really fresh ingredients. Definitely gets backed up around noon but it's worth the wait. People usually move through quickly, so I've never had trouble finding seating. Most salads range from $7-10 read more

Was very unhappy with my experience. As I bit into my steak sandwich, my two front teeth almost cracked in half. I suddenly thought it was a bone but it took me a whiLe to realize it was a VERY LARGE hardened piece of bread that they Makkah from scratch when they take out the middle of the bread. However, there was no way to break this in half or bite into it. So so dangerous!!! I have been having sensitivity and it's been 5 days since my visit. A $10 sandwich should not cause me a trip to the dentist! read more

Fresh ingredients, plenty of seating space, great service. The only downside was that during my first visit I wasn't sure how to order and the instructions on the menus provided at the front weren't very clear if you wanted to build your own. The food was delicious and I would absolutely visit again. read more

Published hours need to be revised to reflect their actual closing time of sometime between ~8:40 and 8:50PM, or whenever the employees have decided they don't feel like working anymore. At 8:53 on Saturday, June 30, when I arrived, hoping to quickly grab something to go, the doors were locked, the chairs were stacked, and the three employees inside were standing behind the counter socializing. Not a great look. I would never presume to: 1. Show up at a sit down restaurant 7 minutes before close and be allowed to order, or 2. Understand the struggle of working all afternoon at minimum wage all the way until 9pm on a Saturday. Those things having been said, this is a fast food restaurant, not a sit down restaurant, and the hours are what they are. Either stick to your published hours, or advertise the fact that you close whenever you feel like it. Pick one. read more

So I'm in town for a conference and I was looking for a fast food place where I could get a quick salad. I passed by this place called Bread Zeppelin because of the "bread" part - I'm gluten intolerant. But then something caught my eye about their salads so I wandered in. Their signature thing is salad in bread, but they also do all sorts of salads without any bread. The salad I had was just excellent! All ingredients were fresh and tasty but I think it was their unique preparation of the salad that made it taste so great. And the staff was engaged and helpful which is a trait sorely lacking with most fast food places. A great salad experience, thanks! read more

Waiter has dirty cloths and is not friendly. But it's the only salad make your own place downtown

I decided today this could be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! This is the second time I've had the Nola (iceberg lettuce, fried shrimp, tomato, onion, pickle, provolone) and getting it in the Zeppelin is a must. Very tasty and crunchy and still hot, it was awesome. We went at 12:30pm at peak lunch time, the line was definitely long but we moved through it in 10 mins. It's a very efficient operation with probably 5-6 prep stations set up, I was very impressed. For a fast downtown lunch option, this is the best around right now! So happy they opened this store. read more

I have been to Bread Zepplin twice now! The first time it was super packed, but the service was so fast! Very friendly in regards to questions about your zepplin and it getting it to your taste. I had the Zepplin that has turkey cranberriess and crunchy walnuts in it! It was so good I got it a second time!!! The bread is fresh and delicious, they hollow out the bread and stuff the salad inside the sandwhich. Must try! Great place for a fast, tasty, healthy lil ole lunch. I will be back! read more

So glad they are finally open downtown. Honestly the best salad and the zeppelin is awesome!

I normally don't do many posts on here but this place is so good. 1. The price is good. 2. The Southwest Zeppelin with hot sauce and avocado ranch is bomb. 3. Any of the salad that doesn't fit into your sandwich you get to take with you. Definitely a good spot for lunch / after workout meal. read more

I'm a Postmates driver... I was assigned a pick up from here yesterday afternoon... I was honestly angry about it because the lunch line was so long and I was trying to make my coins girl! .....but seeing how long the line was, I decided to check out the menu, (which was very reasonably priced) to research what I was expected to order for my customer..... zeppelins....never heard of them, so I had to try one, and see what all the fuss was about,...I was about to head to my regular job anyway, so...what the hell right?? ‍‍ Best thing I ever did!!!! I got the Southwest, with cranberry vinaigrette.... it was SPECTACULAR!! So much so, I'm already planning what I want to order tomorrow!! If you get a chance this place is amazing.... as others have said tho, the assembly line could use a tad more efficiency.......I don't, however, quite see how that could be accomplished without WAY over staffing during peak hours, or offering a choice of counter OR table service.....regardless of the wait times tho, The staff is doing an amazing job, producing an amazing product, there's just SO MANY customers!!!! read more

Boring. Everything lacked flavor and was bland AF. And that's saying a lot because breads and salads are bland by default. Even the lemonade was bland. read more

This Bread Zeppelin is still new so it's going to take a little time for the staff to get it all flowing smoothly. However, the product they've got (salads and zeppelins) are delicious. Lots of suggested combos or the ability to make your own. I love being able to choose the amount of dressing, and everything that goes into my order. The place is clean, quick, and really delicious. The bread is tasty and the dressings are flavorful! read more

Sooooo good! Staff was SUPER friendly and place was really clean! Not to mention that food, it was really really good and you get SO MUCH!

Worst dinning experience I've had in a very long long time. The entire staff was unhelpful and rude! They were talking crap about the customers including myself! They had locked the side door at 7pm, then when a customer was trying to leave they just stood there and talked about her. I got up and unlocked the door so the customer could leave. Then as soon as she walked out the door one of the girls who worked there locked the door again. I asked what time they closed and why she was locking the door. She yelled at me they close at 9! Then she stormed off. Then another customer was trying to use the door so again I unlocked it for her. The same girl tells one of the guys there that if she was off she would take care of me! This is the kind of people that Bread Zeppelin hired? This place needs a complete overhaul from the owner down to the last employee. I will never be coming back to this location! read more

Best saad place in the planet. They are staffed appropriately to quickly run through the huge lunch line of people craving their amazing salads and zeppelins. read more

In from out of town and was looking for a light lunch. This was just a few blocks from my hotel so I thought I'd give it a try. Farm fresh lettuce and great veggies to add in. Grilled tofu was an option so I added it. Best salad I've had in a long time. My sister got their signature "zeppelin" with the sale chopped and stuffed into a baguette. She said here was outstanding and it's tough to impress her. read more

Bread Zeppelin Salads Elevated - Outstanding Red Leaf salad with beets, jalapenos, edamame, and tofu - Salad Near Me - Dallas, Texas

The employees and service were fine. What individual made the decision to stop chopping salads? I ordered a zeppelin with avocado and because you don't chop them anymore the entirety of the avocado ended up in one place in the zeppelin. Literally the ingredients clumped up so I had lettuce in one spot, avocado in another, etc. You had a formula that was working so please go back to it. You have no individual draw if you just shove unchopped salad into bread. read more

Rude and lazy employees. The leader of the shift gave me intimidating responses which did nothing but cause immediate anger. I will never patronize this establishment again. read more

Walking around looking for some lunch I noticed the interesting pun, then the long line. I figured this place must have something going for it. Eventually I get to the front of the line and order a bowl with tofu, currants, and some veggies. The offerings were fresh and a decent selection of salad ingredients. Some days carbs can tire me out so I skipped one of their bread offerings, which seem like a cool concept. Not a bad spot, pretty affordable. Better than your average make-your-own salad joint. read more

The line can get crazy long at lunch. So basically you stuff a chopped up salad in a warm roll. The bread they use is crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. Yum. The chicken isnt that good. The steak is where its at. Also, pro tip: get the broccoli and cheese soup. Tastes kinda like jason's deli broc and cheese soup, yasss read more
