This is one of those places that I always forget about, and dammit, I really shouldn't. I mean, I'm one of those people who hates (I cannot overstate this - and I'm not being overly dramatic either. You may think otherwise) supermarket bread. You know the stuff. It's packed with more preservative than Cher. More chemicals than Charlie Sheen. I cannot abide the stuff.
But most bakeries close at 5pm, maybe 6pm if you're lucky. This place is open til 8pm, and the baking staff work really hard to produce decent, high quality bread. They do quite a few different breads and cakes, and what I've had, I've really quite liked.
