Quaint, funky, ambience in an old industrial type building. Very friendly, helpful service, amazing, delicious croissants, French snd loaf bread, pastries, and sandwiches some of which can be made to order and some are not available if they run out of the base sandwich material.
We had a chicken toasty and a breakfast croissant.
We started with what they call a cherry bomb. It's almost like a super dry sweet scone with either a look Sarto, or some other type of super intense cherry, right in the middle, to me that needed a little more of the cherry filling.
The chicken toastie was excellent, creamy chicken, Philly, and cheese between too well grilled slices of sourdough bread with lots of fresh butter slathered on before they toasted it We're probably going to buy a loaf of that bread on the way out of town tomorrow. The breakfast croissant had bacon a fried egg and a tomato type relish with a little sweetness that really added something to the sandwich. It was not on a regular shaped croissant. It was on a round, baked croissant roll to better handle the egg.
The coffees are excellent. You do order everything at one register they give you a little sandwich board sign with your number for the order and then they bring you the coffee and the food to your table. They also come and bus your table for you if they are not too busy.
Of course they only have natural sweeteners so if you use Equal or any other artificial sweetener you will need to bring your own!
Totally hip, and definitely worth a visit. read more
