When there is no direct competition around, customer service always suffers. I was watching the…read moremovie "Spotlight" with my husband and the film froze 4 times in different parts.
Everytime someone stood up to call an employee, the film would start again and after that it would freeze again.
So finally, one customer stood up and looked for an employee who restarted the whole film again while we all waited the whole process took about 10 minutes.
What amazes me is, nobody even bothered to apologize to the customers about what happened or ask if they could offer the customers something for the inconvenience. My husband complained about this to the female manager and she kept saying "Well, what do you want me to do, you were able to watch the film till the end?" My fazit: when there is no other movie theater close by to offer good competition, the people of Schorndorf and the cities close by will have to continue to put up with such lousy and primitive customer service. It was like, it was no big deal that they had just offered terrible service to their customers. With this kind of service, it made me think..like why even bother to go to the movies? Because nobody really cared there if the customers had a good experience. Important is that they already collected their money.
I wonder if the people who own this movie theater actually even care if they have dissatisfied customers?
