Each lane typically has 10-15 customers waiting, sometimes more, which leads to long delays. When another register finally opens, instead of helping the customers who have been waiting the longest, staff often call over people from the back of the line who just arrived. This is extremely frustrating and unfair to those who have already waited. Additionally, the store rarely answers the phone, making it difficult to get any assistance without going in person. Overall, the experience is disappointingi wouldn't even rate it half a star. In contrast, the Academy Sports + Outdoors location provides outstanding service and operates much more efficiently.

This place has some serious beach and surfing equipment along with skateboards. Yes they have tons of clothing, hats, shoes, eyewear and swimsuits. It's not a huge store,but they definitely pack in some good surfing gear. Only thing I found conspicuously absent was anything to do with fishing. They do have six dressing rooms for you to use. Definitely a good spot to check out if you're into surfing.

This golf shop is a stable in McAllen. It has some of the most helpful staff (Talk to Ruben, he has…read morebeen there for 25+ years) of any golf store I have been to. The staff (maybe not all of them) eat and breathe golf They do have a launch monitor for you to try out a few clubs but I encourage you to do your homework and have a consistent swing so you can get consistent results to compare. Ten bad swings and one good swing will take several hours to get an actual good idea of what your actual spin rate, actual launch trajectory, side spin, swing speed, and ball speed are. The prices are the same as any other golf shop because they price match to other stores (try it out). I have been shopping here since 1998 when I first started playing golf competitively and the staff has always been helpful and supportive. Give them a try!

INSTEAD he finished his fax, did not get on a register or get anyone else to get in a register, walk over to the other manager, talk about me, they both looked at me and I looked RIGHT BACK, hand on my hip PISSED.
