Been here a few times now, always ordered the excellent rump steak in some form. It's always been delicious and comfortable. Baked apple rings for dessert are incredible (apfelstrudel too). There are only a few beers on tap, not much of a brauhaus - but the isensomething dark beer is really amazing! read more

Pleasant enough but it can get very busy both inside and out. The beer and wine is good and the house special is always recommended. seating space in winter months is limited and this place is very popular and fills up fast. However in summer months and on hot evenings, this restaurant has an amazing amount of outdoor seating both to the front, rear, and in their umbrella covered bar that opens up in good conditions. read more

I made a habit of coming here at least once a week, usually at night and by fahrrad. I'd sit…read moreoutside on the Platz, listen to the dreamy chill lounge music, and people watch (even in the cold). Once in the zone, I'd order one glass of Riesling, a large Caesar salad and an espresso. Never let me down. Likely one of the most generous and best Caesar's I've had in Germany. Downside is that the salads are so large, plan on getting there early or order well in advance so you can finish it all and still catch your train on time! Doh!

Mein Mann und ich waren im November 2011 zum wiederholten Mal im Brauhaus und ich war echt enttäuscht. Ich hatte eine vegatarische Pfanne mit Rösti. Diese waren fast ungenießbar, da sie sich größtenteils mit dem rußig ranzigen Fett aus der gußeisernen Pfanne vollgesogen hatten. Das Gemüse schmecke dadurch natürlich auch nicht besonders gut. Im Laufe des Abends kam ein älterer Mann in den Laden, der dort wohl etwas zu melden hatte und scheuchte die Kellnerinnen herum. Ich fand das ziemlich daneben und irgendwie peinlich. Hab dann zu der Kellnerin gar nichts mehr gesagt, wg. des Essens, die taten mir dort echt leid. read more
