Well, I'll write a review while I'm waiting on my clothes to finish washing. Let me first say that…read morethis is my first review on Yelp, and I'm excited to start reviewing businesses, especially those in my local community. I'll start off by saying I don't know anything about washing clothes (that's your parents job, right?) After a night of partying and puking all over my bed, I thought it best to take the clothes and bed spread to a laundry mat, so I wouldn't have to tell my parents why there was puke all over my things. I always drive past this laundry mat, but have never been in which is why I chose to come here. The building is nicer than the other one I know of in town. Upon entering, I found the service desk. Since I had absolutely no idea what to do, I kindly asked the woman for assistance and told her what happened. Even though it really wasn't her job, she helped me pick out detergent and some bounce sheets. Then before washing the clothes, she looked at tags and helped me sort the different colors into two machines. She then helped me add the soap, choose the water temp, and start the machines. I even had a red shirt that couldn't be washed with the other colors, so she offered to hand wash it for me. By this point I felt bad because of all she had done for me The washers are just about done, so I'll finish up this review when I get out to my car... Well, we got the clothes out of the washer, put them into the dryers, and now all my things are clean and smell great! I'm glad she was there to help with the dryers too because I have a bed cover containing plastic that would have been ruined if I put it in the dryer with heat. The service here was beyond courteous, and the woman was extremely helpful! I like that she didn't just do the laundry for me, but she actually took the time to explain what to do for next time. I hope I never have to do this again under the same circumstances, but if I do then I know I'll be coming back here!

Swan Cleaners in Mansfield, Ohio completely RUINED MY WEDDING DRESS that was passed down to me from…read moreprevious generations!! It is unfortunate for me to have to write this review, but the truth about this place must be told. I took my wedding dress to Swan Cleaners because I wanted to support local business, and the price was right. My dress was clean and altered; the last step was just to have it pressed and ready for the big day. I took it in and picked it up just days before my wedding. I never thought to take it out of the bag until the morning of the wedding because I didn't want to risk getting wrinkles. I was absolutely horrified when I went to put it on just less than an hour before the ceremony was to begin, and I noticed several large burn marks down the front of the dress. I was so heartbroken; the emotions I experienced during that hour before are so real to me even today. It's every brides nightmare. I ended up having no other choice but to go through my entire wedding day with a ruined dress because of this cleaning company. After the wedding, I decided to email the manager and owner, Jeff Kent, with a calm, thought out email explaining the situation and my terrible experience on the wedding day. This was on 5/30/2013. At this point, I was just looking for an apology and was hoping Jeff would offer a full refund as the least he could do for ruining my dress. I heard nothing back, so a little less than a week later, on 6/3/2013, I wrote another email, this one more heated, demanding a refund for ruining my wedding dress, a huge apology, and with a threat that if I didn't hear from him, I would be writing the reviews his business deserved. Today, I have reached my max level of patience. It is July, and I have still not heard from Jeff, so here is the review that I promised. I am extremely upset and have spent hundreds of dollars trying to restore and repair my special, special wedding dress. BEWARE of this company. They need to be shut down for their poor business tactics and unfairness in treating customers as they have. I want to write this review, so you will not make the same mistake I did. Please be careful and NEVER EVEN STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE. I sure wish I could go back in time and do the same for myself...."

If this review can prevent any individual from using you guys in the near future then taking the…read moretime to post my review here was totally worth it. If you have a choice in the matter, stay far away. The owner is a complete con artist. Despite all the positive reviews recommending this company with cleaning their carpets, I wouldn't even trust them to complete a simple task such as that. This company is not a true remediation and restoration company and the owner will not take ownership when things go sideways during the clean-up process. The owners workers couldn't even close up a barrier correctly. Save yourself the headache, unnecessary stress, deceitfulness and financial burden of relying on this company to perform first responder remediation work as they do not know what they are doing. Go with a real remediation company such as Servpro instead.
