I think this is a lot better than some shoe stores where you barely have room to browse, let alone comfortably try on a pair. Always seems clean, although the smell of plastic in the shoes can sometimes be a little overpowering. The staff i've been served by have always been polite and fairly quick at serving, and i've never really noticed large queues even when shopping on a saturday.

The staff there are helpful and polite and are always at hand . Wynsors have there own big carpark and its can get busy the ques are never big as the staff are quick servers . So we went into Robin Elt shoes as my Fiancé said that Ecco boots were good and they had a sign for them here. Were were so glad we went in, the shop isn't big but has quality foot ware. On entering a shop assistant in a suit ( yes a suit ) came across and basically helped us try on some walking boots. He was straight out of the good old days. Incredibly well mannered, knowledgeable and really nice to us. Needless to say as the boots were great we immediately brought them. Its been a long time since I have had such a nice experience in a shop and will probably go back there next time, even though its in a another country! If only all customer service was like this.

It is a traditional shoe shop of the kind that sadly, has largely disappeared from the High Street. It had a broad range of quality shoes, including classic brogues and welted leather sole construction(highest quality) footwear. Noticeable were the helpful friendly staff. The quality of the products on display in Robin Elt were in such great contrast to the shoddily-made plastic items I see in many other' shoe shops' that 'I purchased a pair of 'Barkers' Northamptonshire-made gent's shoes. and at a fraction of the price that I would have had to pay at most other 'quality' outlets that sell Barkers/Loakes/ TecNic'/ Grenson footwear. They even had shoes in 'half' sizes - a rare thing today. In terms of the 'ease of purchase' (friendly knowledgeable shop staff who were not 'pushy' or overbearing) , the 'ambience' (the shop is traditional, no gimmicks), and excellence of the product sold: I give 'Robin Elt a 'five star' rating. Broughton Shoe Warehouse always has lots of nice designs that fit the bill! Their shoes are modern, well made, extremely comfortable (most with cushioned soles) and, best of all, they are very cheap! You can usually pick up a pair for around £20-£30 and they'll last you for ages! As it's located on a retail park it's handy for parking outside too, which is a bonus! As shoes are so cheap I sometimes buy the same pair in a few different colour ways! You can never have too much comfort!!! :0)

Despite an extensive variety of shoes at her disposal, as well as an extremely helpful if not pushy member of staff, she found no joy. The shoes on offer are much more sensible than the ones she was after, with schools shoes featuring prominently throughout. In the area that is Bearwood, it isn't surprising, with a large number of families and young children living nearby. The prices seemed relatively cheap, but it seems that If you are looking for something a bit more stylish, then this may not be the place for you.

They have a nice selection of wallets and purses and the people who work here are really friendly and helpful. They also have an online presence with shoes available via their ebay store.
