Our art experience included all the necessary art supplies and the privilege being guided through the creative process by our awesome art instructor, Mia. Mia was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. She spent time with each one of us, explaining techniques and offering tips and motivation. The Affluent Concierge provided a unique and delightful experience, with great attention to detail and heartwarming personal touches. The bar was fully functional and had plenty of space. There is efficient parking and the garage doors add a great feature aesthetically and functionally. I also had a great experience with the owner, who was very accomodating and made sure we had sufficient access to what we needed. We had about 75 in attendance and did not need for more space. I would personally recommend The Experience hands down.

The beds were supposed to be queen but they were smaller than my queen at home. Plenty of cooking supplies, full size fridge is very nice. Really enjoyed the 11th Hour band on Saturday night, and bingo on Sunday night. A great place for families, if a little expensive. It's very clean, both inside the cabin and everyplace else. I suggest a rug or mat for the front door, it was pouring down rain when we checked in, we used a bedroom rug. So nice to have a place where pets are welcome. I am not one to post reviews normally, and was professional & friendly in my demeanor. When reviewing my concerns with the office staff they advised I needed to speak to the manager & provided days/time to return - I returned as directed 3 times and the she was "unavailable". On my 3rd visit the manager refused to come out of her office - I could literally SEE her in her office but she would not come out. Again - I was not "mad" or showing "frustration" and the front desk staff were very nice. It was very bizarre. The manager obviously was just not interested in speaking to us. I then followed up with 2 emails - again no response from management. The major issues: Contaminated/Boil Water notice delay - We arrived on Friday 5/1/26 and were notified at 7pm 5/2/26 via email that the local water supply was compromised and residents were under a boil water notification since at least 4/27/2026 per the town website. Island Oaks did not offer or have any bottled water to supply to us - I did ask - and we were paying full price for water and electric service. Why were we not informed upon check in to not drink/shower/brush/bath with the contaminated water and this issue jeopardized our health ! Island Oaks showed no concern or signs of caring about their facilities when it came to their guest health. Unleashed dogs - There were at least 4 unleashed dogs in the sites around us while we kept our dog leashed as per the rules. To get to the dog park you had to cut through someone's site - past the unleashed dogs - there was no easy entrance accessible from campsites. Never again - highly do NOT recommend Island Oaks.
