    Amazing cocktails

I think the thing that stroke me the most was the love with which the bartender mixed his drinks. We stumbled upon the place very randomly on our way back from a dinner and decided to have a drink. The drink menu was very creative and extensive and it took us a while to settle on just one. We then watched bartender working on the drinks with such passion and dedication as if it was his only chance to win a top barman of the year award! Everything that hit the glass was home made, squeezed or infused, coming from myriad of bottles next to us. A first sip proved that all this effort paid off - amazing, flavorful and unique. It was so good, we stayed for two more rounds! We also noticed how pleasant and welcoming the staff was, so we came back the next day for brunch. And the next day. And one more time after that. And finally for our last evening in Buenos Aires - wonderful place!

Such an enthusiastic 5 stars! Staff was very polite and friendly, they were so nice to accommodate us so close to closing for the evening. I had the lomo quinoa bowl and my husband I shared the street tacos and ceviche for an appetizer, all was incredibly good! Don't miss this place if ever in Buenos Aires!

This restaurant is a lot of fun. They have a huge bar, high ceilings, and a generally modern feel. I was with a girlfriend and we split a quinoa bowl and a salad. I thought the food was good but maybe a little plain. The wine and service though were both impecable!

Went to this restaurant with small company of friends for impromptu birthday celebration. Service was efficient (we got in around midnight and food was tasty. Some of dishes ordered could be easily shared: my Cesar salad was huge! Since we had a birthday boy in our company restaurant give us complimentary desert. Nice place, good combination quality food and price reasonable for occasion.

Due to the…read morecity being what it is you are going to have a crazy time finding anything that matches this place in terms of aesthetic. This place resembles a renovated alleyway and is almost entirely outside and spacious between two brick type buildings. The owner, Fidel clearly sank a lot of time making it a comfortable and relaxed environment. - Beer - Their beer selection as it stands now is small but promising. They have about 5 taps serving the standard Quilmes, Patagonia lineup. They also have a somewhat hidden tap of homebrew that rotates often and has literally never let me down in quality (Seriously give this a try regardless of what it is). Last I checked with Fidel he was in talks to add 4 more taps to his lineup which would give the location a very refreshing array of beers to try, here's to hoping they can snag some promising local breweries as the Quilmes/Patagonia humdrum can be a deterrent for some. They also have soda, water, tonic if you don't want beer, no wine from what I can tell. - Aesthetic - I usually do not comment too much on this factor but in a city that seems to thrive off intensity at all times this is a nice break from it. For the life of me, I could not find a place that played music that was at least slightly calm until I came to this place. Its the only place I have found with a very laid-back vibe and to top it off it is outdoors. They have lights strung up across the place to give it almost a back patio summer feel that I always enjoyed back in the states. I would usually turn right around the first time I saw their beer selection but I am totally honest when I say the atmosphere here made me become a regular even before I tried the beer and food. - Food - Simply put they have the best chicken wings I have ever had both here in Argentina and in the states. I was told to try Chicken Bros for good wings but once I got a taste of these I never went back. At the time of writing this, they run about 40 Pesos for 7 which in my book is an amazing deal. They also have sandwiches which are amazing as well and was the reason I mentally decided to make this a regular eating spot in the first place...the wings just turned it into an addiction. Tidbits - Happy hour is phenomenally priced and runs until about 9 I think. - The hours on Yelp are incorrect and they tend to open at around 6, not 5 so just keep that in mind. - If you're keen on it I have met nothing but friendly people here like I said...the good vibes carry onto the people you see here as well. - They have Foosball and hula hoops -They have an indoor section in the back - In case you miss it the entrance is a gate with a colorful wall. - Most people working here know English to a fair amount so if you're timid about your Spanish it is not an overwhelming location to check out. - It's outdoors so you might endure some cigarette smoke if that's not your thing just be aware. - Maybe I have not been there late enough but this place stays rather mellow unless a party comes through. While that is a huge draw for me it may be a deterrent for others. I sincerely think that if you are in Palermo or even Buenos Aires you are missing out on how diverse and interesting this city can be if you do not give this place a shot. As it stands I go to this place every week at least and they are worth every Peso. I continue to wish them the best of luck in the future and hope they continue to grow in business and popularity. -Cheers

For the average American patron, the draft beer selection might not be terribly impressive, since there are mostly beer brands like Stella, Blue Moon, Dos Equis, and Sam Adams, but considering just about no other bars in the area serve these beers, it's actually kinda cool. Also, it's not like there aren't a few other brands as well, so you can certainly find something that you haven't seen before. Anyways, I can see how a lot of American ex-pats would come here for a taste of home. The beer selection can be seen on the large chalkboard menu on the back wall behind the bar. You won't miss it, because it is an impressive, immense work of art. We didn't order any food, but it seems like there's a lot of American pub food available like burgers and fries. The prices were pretty awesome, with a pint costing you AR$50, and a half-pint at $AR30. Not too shabby in my opinion. The staff behind the bar is pretty attentive and quick, and a majority have pretty good English, so you don't have to worry too much about embarrassing yourself with broken Spanish. I didn't really see Buenos Aires as having a very big beer bar culture, but this visit really changed my views. That isn't to say that I think that beer culture has taken over, but the fact that places like this exist and that they're uber popular is definitely a sign that things could be trending that way. It'll be cool to see if that type of culture develops in the coming years. Cash only.

One thing I found interesting was that this bar doesn't have any brewer tap handles, they're simply all plain black. This makes the overall aesthetic of the place a bit cooler and you'll really enjoy their rustic, warm, industrial atmosphere. They also have excellent food. Boasting a solid 30 taps, from somewhere between 15-20 different breweries, it's one of the better stocked places around. There's a certain staid formality to the service, the barmen in leather aprons and offering up an amiable, though short of friendly greeting and serving of beer. There's even a doorman with a clipboard, deciding if you can come in or not, despite the fact that the place has far fewer attendees (at least so far) than the other beer spots within a block or so. It has less of a feel of a trendy, hopping place to hang out and more of a place for serious beer drinkers to come and sample. The selection of beers doesn't list a size, and different beers get different glassware - just eyeballing it, I'd say that you're getting anywhere from a half to a full pint, depending on which beer, you just don't know in advance. And, it's a little pricey, with about 2/3 of the list coming in at 90 pesos and the remainder at 100. There is a happy hour during early evening, from 6:30 to 8:30, but rather than a flat reduced price, the offering is any of the 90 peso priced beers, a second one for only 30 pesos more, i.e., 120 pesos for two beers. They don't have to be the same, but they are limited to the "lower" priced beers. You do get a little board with some cheese and cold cuts on it to accompany your beer. The menu specialty is pizza - with a dozen varieties available by the slice. It's not the best pizza I've ever had, it's not the worst. The crust is a little chewy, and not in a good way - I think it simply needed to have been left to rise a bit longer and get a lighter texture. The cheese is a bit oily, but flavorful. The "pepperoni", which I tried with great hopes, was, as is so typical here, not pepperoni, but just some sort of mildly spicy salami. Ah well. They do have a combo price of a beer and a slice for 130 pesos, which saves you a whopping 10 pesos over the two ordered separately (again, 90 peso beers only) - as slices come in at a hefty 50 pesos apiece. Considering that the 10 peso difference between the two "levels" of beer amounts to a whole 55 cents U.S., personally, I think they should just price them all the same and be done with it. Would I go back? Yes, mostly just because of the beer selection over the other spots in the area, as well as, I tend to like a quieter bar.
