As a professional photographer, I often rent camera lenses and camera bodies. It's the best and…read moreleast expensive way to try out new equipment before purchasing it. I'm really glad to have this place so close to home. They also ship equipment for those who are out of town, but I love the convenience of being able to pick up and drop off locally. The staff is friendly, and you can reserve your equipment online or over the phone. You can pick your equipment up after 3 PM the day before and it's due before noon the day after. My only complaints are the parking and no straps for the camera bodies. The parking situation is a bummer, but you can usually find somewhere to park in the street while you run in and grab your equipment as long as you don't stay there long. When I rented a camera body a couple weeks ago, they didn't include a camera strap which is just asking me to drop it. I primarily shoot with my 70-200mm, and that thing is just too heavy to constantly carry in my hand and worry about dropping. They need to include neck straps with the body rentals.

Earlier this year, I inquired about working with Pathfinder Films for a very specific commercial…read moreseries for our healthcare organization. Their team of creators walked us through every stage of the process perfectly-they came up with two options for scripts, complete with visionary storyboards. What stood out the most to our team was the attention to detail of our story and our people. Director Leif Ramsey listened and did the research to truly understand our community. He and the team spent a marathon 2 days across many locations and captured each scene efficiently and expertly. I can't thank the lighting team, DP and crew enough. Leif and producer Derek were understanding about last minute changes and requests and our end product was so appreciated and emotionally exquisite that we boosted our budget to share it even further. I will always recommend Pathfinder Films to any company or organization that desires a true and heartfelt film representation of who they are.
