Do you know why some restaurants won't accept these coupons even tho it's in the offer?! EVEN WITH A RESERVATION THEY MAY NOT HAVE A VEHICLE FOR YOU!!!…read more I would be giving this company 0 stars if that was an option. 3 days before our rental date pick up we were called to confirm our reservation for a mini-van. We were driving from MI to FL the day after Christmas and did not want to take our SUV. We confirmed our reservation. When we showed up at 7am we were told that there was no van available for us unless we wanted to take a MASSIVE passenger van. We told the man at the counter that was unacceptable so he began making phone calls to the 2-3 nearby locations, no van. He called Detroit airport and was told they were -2. When we asked what that meant he said 2 more reservations for vans would not be fulfilled that day. I called the 800 number because the man at the counter said there was nothing more he could do, his boss was out of town. The 800 number told us we had to deal with the man at the counter!!! At this point we called the 800 number a second time, hoping we could find a rental location literally ANYWHERE along the route between Lake Orion and Key West. The woman on the phone checked at least 20 major cities along the way and could not find us a mini-van. We will absolutely never use this company again and I would strongly suggest that you think twice before renting from this company. What good is a reservation or a confirmation phone call if the vehicle will still not be available?!?!! We considered taking our own vehicle, but due to some minor car problems in the couple of months leading up to the trip we were hesitant to drive it several thousand miles. So, grudgingly our family of 4 packed into an SUV no bigger than the car we own. Not how we wanted to start off our vacation, angry about the company failing to do their job, or able to help us. There are just so many other rental agents out there I would never take my chances with this company again. I reserved a car back in September with Hertz and they were amazing. They will be getting my business in the future.
