I DO NOT recommend this place. I went there 3 years ago…read moreand the dentist said I needed about $600 worth of work to be done (my portion that wasn't covered by insurance) which was several cavities. She did the work over a period of about nine months and said everything looked good. I went back in 6 months for a checkup, after a tooth broke off, and (a different dentist) said I needed the tooth removed and that I needed a significant amount of work and she would prepare a plan. I had the tooth removed by an oral surgeon and when I went back (now another different dentist) she said I needed about $4,000 of work done (my portion that wasn't covered by insurance). She didn't have an explanation of why I needed the extensive work except to say my teeth were much worse that they thought. I was skeptical about that plan so went to a reputable dentist in Pella and his diagnosis was that I had dry mouth and all of my teeth would be breaking off in the next couple of years - he did say he could do $4-5,000 worth of restorative work but I'd be wasting my money. He said I'd likely need all of my teeth removed in a few months and then need dentures - his diagnosis turned out to be exactly correct. Either Associated Dentists doesn't know what they are doing - or maybe they do - but the theme here seems to be get the customer to spend as much as possible whether it will be beneficial to their health, or not.

Awesome children's dentist office! Makes visits fun and memorable for the kids…read more Everyone is genuine, super kind, and kid friendly. They know how to relate to children well! (This was my main focus because it helps children feel welcome and cared about w/o feeling super anxious) Quick with cleaning and examination. Kids have a fun room to wait in and another patient waiting room with huge TV game pads! Kids can pick out a toy for a prize afterwards!! My kids LOVED that part. Even the anxious 3 year old did well!!! Dr Warrington was great! Professional, thorough, and took his time answering my questions. Saw him with another patient and he was awesome handling what looked like a difficult dental situation. Visits are easy to schedule online (they call you back) and on phone. Located in a beautiful area of West Des Moines. Building is easy to find. Interior design and decor of office is clean cut and simple. Very eye catching. Main dental cleaning area is open with lots of windows that bring in sunlight. Private rooms for private and closer exams. We scheduled our next visit already!

Terrible experience here. I won't return unless there is no other choice. They wont let you in the…read moreroom with your children. They make you sit outside the closed room on a wooden block. They have their own convenience in mind first patient second and parent last. If you have other children not being seen you have to have another adult watch them or leave them home. I had to add to this review because our experience when we left was even more terrible. The doctor went from one treatment room to my daughters without washing her hands and had the same face mask on. While my daughter was laying in the chair the lady helping the doctor sprayed a toxic chemical multiple times right in close proximity to her face. Within a foot. When I talked to the dr. about my issues she didn't want to hear it. She just kept saying she didn't do anything wrong. When I spoke to the office manager about my concerns they said that we could not return. I told her that treatment would likely be delayed if they did not finish the other half and they said they didn't care because we aren't a "good fit" for them. Be warned, unless you're a good girl and do what they tell you, you will not be able to come back and don't dare voice any concerns that you have to them.
