James is a thief, he gave me an estimate to remove a tree and I gave him a $350 payment after signing contract. That was on March 16 2022. The tree was supposed to be removed in next two weeks. I didn't hear from him. I called and left numerous messages over the next seven weeks, he never answered. I finally gave up and contacted another contractor. I now realize that he has done this to several customers I will try to contact him again for a refund, I don't expect an answer. I'm a senior citizen and was taken advantage of. Beware these people are out there, and will take advantage of you. This is sad. I will be contacting small claim court. read more

I wish I researched James Morgan with BranchWalker Tree Service before doing business with him. DO NOT do business with BranchWalker Tree Services. He'll give an excellent price and then want a deposit. If you give him a deposit you will never hear back from him again. Same story as the others here on Yelp; I gave him a $250 deposit and he never returned to do the work. I called and texted him for 3 weeks with no response. I wish it were worth it to take him to small claims court but it is not worth it, I guess he knows that. The least I can do is write a review to warn others to stay away from this con artist. read more

Well, looks like I fell into this scam! He took my deposit and never showed up or returned my numerous phone calls or texts. I am single and unemployed with a huge tree down in my back yard on top of my fence and shed. What a piece of work! How do people live with themselves??? I will be contacting the police! read more

"Fraud definition: deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage." 6/27/2020: I gave James Paul Morgan a $200 deposit for tree removal, based on his written estimate that I signed. 7/3/2020: I gave James Pau Morgan $500 cash for the balance of the work, yet to be done but he was coming that afternoon with his crew and we had to leave town. 7/15/2020: Theft of his truck and saws had put him behind but he promised he would definitely do the job "this week." 7/23/2020: "Tomorrow or Saturday" he texted. 8/12/2020: I'm still waiting for James to respond to calls, Facebook messages, and emails. Too bad, I was a fan and had been very pleased with the first job Branchwalker did for us. Many other customers were also pleased since Branchwalker began in 2015. Recently there have been at least 4 of us who have been cheated by this company. Do your homework or join the list of victims. James, I'll take this down when you refund my money. read more

Total crooks. Do not give this company or anyone from it any money. James Morgan convinced me to pay him upfront because he needed money to get a part required to fix his chainsaw - now its several months later and this company won't return my calls, and their voicemail box is full. read more

Oh, darn! I hate it when this happens. I called BranchWalker hoping to get a quote. I called on Wednesday, July 3, before 5 pm. There was no answer but there was opportunity to leave a message, and I did As of today (July 8), no one has called me back. I realize there was a 4th of July holiday in there, and I didn't expect them to call me on a holiday, but it's been too long now and it just doesn't bode well for them. read more

James was fantastic. He was quick to fit us into his schedule. He was also a fair price compared to some of the other companies I looked into. We have had other companies trim our tree in the past and James did a much superior job. He knows what is best of the health and life of the tree. He far exceeded my expectations. We will be using Branchwalker for our tree trimming from now on. read more

These guys are very skilled! The whole crew is very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing tree work done! Did I mention that they are also really fully insured, including employees being covered by workers comp! No other tree service I called covered their employees too.
