I have used Branch Garage Doors in the past and they were the only company I called again. Natalie answered the phone, and I explained my issue. She said the first available appointment was Tuesday and I accepted. Less than 25 minutes later, Natalie called back and said they had a cancellation and if I was available now, she would have a technician come out within 30 minutes. I agreed! Jeff came out and was very knowledgeable about all aspects of garage door mechanics. He explained the problem was with my motor and that it would be more advantageous to replace the LiftMaster than purchase a new motor given my opener was nearly 20 years old. He explained the options available to me and I based my choice on his recommendation. He said I would be surprised at how quiet the new door would be and he was right! While completing the replacement, he noticed the wheels on the door were in need of replacement also. He also found that I did not have hinges on the middle part of the door, and he recommended adding those to strengthen the door as well as provide less stress on the mechanism itself. Just had my garage door springs replaced. Excellent phone service from both Laura and Natalie as they answered all my questions. The service person was Kurt and he was very friendly and prompt within the time promised. I even got a call 15 minutes before he showed up. My previous springs lasted 10 years and 4 months with constant daily use with kids using it like a front door. I do keep up maintenance and keep everything lubricated every year. The springs took about 1 hour to replace, adjust and lubricate, reset opener error code, and billing paperwork. Price quoted was fair market price from what I've looked up. I learned a neat tip from Kurt. Every year disconnect the door from opener belt. Then lift the door and see if it says where you put it. Leave it in the middle and let go. If it stays then the door is balanced and the springs are working correctly. If the door slides up or down when you let go then you need maintenance. Would highly recommend. read more

I went to leave for work one morning and the torsion spring on our garage door broke. Luckily, I called Branch and Natalie said they were able to have someone at my house about an hour later. The technician and I got the door opened using the opener and I moved the car and some other stuff our of the way so he could work. WOW! These guys are incredible, or maybe I should recognize the THE professional gentleman who repaired my broken garage door, "Al" goes well beyond the normal call-of-duty to make every aspect of the door operation worked better than new! After quickly repairing the reason for my service call (door was jammed on a shovel handle, came of the track, cable wrapped around spring and was generally a big mess), Al proceeded to lubricate all of the moving parts, check spring tension and the up/down electronic switches. I had a bad stop switch (and I knew it before he checked) that he found and replaced, so I had him change the other one too just to be safe. Al made it all look quick-n-easy! After he checked the door spring tension (warning - don't try this yourself!) Al adjusted it for a much more smooth raising & lowering operation. I mentioned that I sometimes have trouble lowering the door if sunlight is hitting the safety sensor . . . So yep, he quickly remedied THAT problem too! Their general service call rate and the cost for needed parts (installed two new stop sensors) was very fair. Heck, it was almost worth the service call rate just watch Al in action as he went about his job of professionally tuning the garage door operation to HIS liking! Overall, I could not be more pleased with my Branch Garage Door service call and would welcome the opportunity to use them again - Though it will probably be a long time because Al seemed to make of every adjustment he could find (and things that I didn't even know needed adjusting!) read more

After an incident involving me backing into my garage door prior to being completely open, I called Branch for help! Mitch responded and within 45 minutes had completely fixed my door. He placed the rollers back on track, adjusted the springs, tightened door screws, and lubed the door and opener. He even went above and beyond by cleaning my greasy fingerprints off the door from where I had to manually pull it closed! I am so pleased with this company! I needed them to come out on the eve of hurricane Matthew, and sure enough they showed up. I never felt like I was a bother considering the circumstances of the storm. I needed to replace our springs, and Allen gave me a few suggestions, he was just being nice and and knowledgeable. When I purchased my first home and needed a new garage door and garage door opener, I decided to get a few quotes as I didn't know quite what to expect. Mitch came out and he was incredibly nice and professional. He mentioned that they were about 5 weeks out because of how busy they were, but I decided to go with them because from everything that I've been told, they were well worth the wait. The woman in the office (sorry I forgot her name) was super friendly and helpful. She tried to figure out what the issue was with me over the phone prior to scheduling the technician. I had called around 9am and was given a window of 11-3:30 that day and she apologized that she couldn't narrow that down as they were fairly busy that day. However, I got a call around 10:45 that there was a technician in my area and he would be there by 11. Mitch was the technician and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the system I owned was over 20 years old and from a company that was no longer in business so I had to get a new system. Mitch offered up many options and I never felt pressured into getting something more than I needed. He had it all installed in an hour and a half and with a price I thought was very reasonable.
