The doctors at Rothman recommended physical therapy, which led me to Ivy rehab in northern Liberties for it is very close to my home so it's super convenient. I was consistent working with Jonathan two days a week for an hour of physical therapy, he did a combo of massage/stretch and strength exercises to help rebuild the muscles and flexibility around my shoulder. With a lot of patience and care and fun conversations along with the daily riddles to keep you occupied while doing repetitive exercises. The environment of the studio space is full of light and super clean in a modern building. Shannon is the front desk manager she's lovely and is always there to assist and help you with any questions with your insurance and to make appointments she's on it! My shoulder recovery took a bit longer than I thought however, Jonathan had the wisdom and the knowledge to know that it was going to be a longer recovery and encouraged me to keep my PT at home and at the studio. I'm here to say that I am about 95% back to feeling normal on my left shoulder. My range of motion is so much better and I feel stronger for it. At one point, I started to have problems with preexisting nerve pain, and Ally modified my exercise program to reduce the impact on the area in question. The second therapist I saw was Tim. I had sprained my back badly and Tim zeroed in on precisely where the problem was and developed a program to help me recover while not causing additional undue strain to the area.
