Unless you would enjoy dealing with the following:…read more I hired them for 5 hours from 12-5 at $900 for my parents 70th Birthday Party which included a full day of tightly scheduled events. The day before, the owner calls and says he has a bridal party at 4PM that day, and can I switch my time to the morning instead. This didn't work due to all the other events planned, so I agreed to help the bride out and reduce our time to 12-3. This involved us having to drive two cars to the Spa to be able to drive my parents home rather than take them back in the limo. A pretty big change in plans, but I was a bride once too and I felt bad for her! I asked the owner what the price difference would be and he said he couldn't tell me right then since he didn't have my contract in front of him, but that he would make it work and take into account me getting him out of this bind. The limo shows up to my parents' home and the driver hands me a contract for $700. Huh? $900 for 5 hours, I rearrange the day for him and the bride and now have it for 3 hours and you give me a $200 discount? I asked the driver about it and he said he doesn't have any say in it, so I did the math, crossed out what he had written in and authorized $540. I explained I thought the $700 it must be an error as the math didn't make sense and if there were questions, the owner could call me. I thought it was a simple error on his part and was shocked when the owner charged me $700! I called him and gave him an opportunity to reverse his charge and he proceeded to be discriminatory to me and say things like "can I even do math"? Nice sexism. Charming. I kept trying to work with him to resolve the matter, but it was first that he couldn't deal with me because he was sick, then his email doesn't work, then he doesn't have a signed contract from me because his accountant isn't in on Fridays, then I tried again today (Monday) and he still wouldn't send me a copy of the contract. Now he claims he is just a volunteer at this business instead of the owner he and his driver referred to him as.... Anyway, I feel obligated to warn others so that they do not have to endure what I am going through. My credit card company is fighting the charges (that's when the owner started calling himself a volunteer - hello, IRS are you listening?). Frankly I don't care about a measly $160 overcharge. I do care about morals and being a decent person, which this owner/volunteer is not. I hope this review helps deter people from this remarkably shady business.

I had to file a full VISA dispute to get my funds back from this terrible company. The owner is highly unprofessional and swore at me on the phone when I tried using them in 2015. A friend just tried to use them and had a very uneasy experience as well. An excerpt from my Visa dispute: I attempted to call the phone number as provided online today and asked if they could provide for me the correct working phone number to the manager and/or owner of Brainerd Ultimate Limo. The gentleman on the phone explained that he was indeed the owner. I explained that I no longer wanted to move forward with the reservation (weeks prior to the reservation and within the refund period as explained by an employee months prior), and to that he explained, "You gave me your information over the phone. You are bound by law.". I asked if he had a signed receipt and/or contract - to which he again replied "No! You gave me your information - you're bound by law". I tried to explain to him that his employee had advised me that I had up until 2 weeks to obtain a refund, and he told me that "He is no longer with the company so it doesn't matter what he told you.". I advised him that I have not signed an agreement, contract, or receipt. His website does not provide any refund policies. His employee explicitly promised that I would be able to obtain a refund up until 2 weeks prior. He became very aggressive and threatening - daring me to go to the BBB (offered me the phone number). He cursed at me and then hung up on me, answered a call and immediately hung up, and now will not accept my phone calls. Look at other reviews - this is NOT an isolated incident. Stay far far away from this company!
