Expensive and rude, can't wait for uber to make its way to Brainerd. Maybe it was just a one time event but I was not impressed. $65 for a ride from Baxter to Nisswa. Passed our destination twice and the driver told us it was our fault for not telling her where to go. We gave her the address and she put it in her gps. On the upside the taxi arrived on time and it is a good service to have in the community to prevent drinking and driving. read more

Terrible service. They charged me $50 more for the same ride. The cab driver wanted to argue in the cab about not making enough on the ride to make the ride in the first place. Well don't do business then. When you do, be consistent. The gas for my ride was $15 at most. My ride cost $130. I've had the same ride in the past and it was $77. Per owners instructions I was charged $130. That's ridiculous. I'll never use this cab service and would not support this owner. Clearly he's money hungry. He won't be getting anymore of mine. Given the cab drivers ridiculous reaction to my disgust in price gouging. I wouldn't recommend this service to anybody that cares about their money. There are other services. I'd recommend them. Fair pricing without the attitude of accept my bs. read more

Awful customer service. Called to ask for a pick-up at 9:55am in 15/20 minutes. The lady on the phone was very rude. Called back at 10:30am to ensure taxi was still coming. Was told one was on the way, still waiting at 10:45am. Will not use this taxi company again. read more

called for a taxi at 11:14 to be picked up from the Baxter Super One she said to give them 20-30 minutes because there was a couple people in front of me that called first okay fine I was still sitting there until they finally showed up at 12:15 read more

Set up a ride with Brainerd or Taxi for somewhat of a family emergency ; ( After My presence was not needed anymore ) I calling them right away ! to cancel [ trying to be a decent person ] But somehow I'm the bad guy - for not wasting their time; they called me rude ? and then hung up, I couldn't explain, I Had to cancel the ride because they were taking too long with no notice or updates. I get it, it was a holiday, I was not Mad. There's not a lot of options in Brainerd, for Ride Services so they can be rude and jerks, because some people don't have any alternative options. In my opinion Brainerd Taxi go suck a big bag of D's. !!! read more

I had a medical procedure done at St Joseph's Hospital located in Brainerd. I left my vehicle overnight in the guest parking lot. I had scheduled a driver from Brainerd Area Taxi for the next morning at 8 am for I had a 9 am appointment. So I am waiting for my taxi and it is now after 8 am. I called 3 times before a person answered the phone. No voice mail was available. The driver said he did not have my information. Arriving 20 minutes late and wearing no mask. If I did not have a 9 am appointment I certainly would not have taken the ride. The driver did not inform me of why he was not wearing the mandated masks. ? This driver answered his cell phone and even took notes for the next pickups. ? I began to record him for I am thinking no one is going to believe this story. When the time came to review the video I was so disappointed. I was so upset I incorrectly recorded him now I have no evidence. I told the driver the make of my vehicle and it is in southside parking at St. Joseph's. I was not seeing my vehicle so I began to call the hospital. Then I hung up for the driver told me we were driving through the employee parking lot. I am not a hospital employee. ? I thought my vehicle may have been stolen. I informed him that I am late for my morning appointment. I told him he needs to discount my fare, he became very offensive. Not one apology. This driver stated that I should appreciate the ride just the same. ? Very rude! The one-way ride was 11 miles and he still charged $30.00 he gave me 5.00 off my fare. I hope I never need to call this service! I hope that other public transportation will be available in our area community soon! read more

My family inadvertently jumped into a Brainerd Area Taxi parked outside a wedding venue thinking it was the free resort shuttle service. Apparently, the driver was actually supposed to pick up someone else and take them to a destination approximately 15 miles away at a rate of $25. The guy who requested the taxi changed his mind and was trying to cancel the ride. After realizing the error, the driver charged my family $35 for the less than two mile ride. My nephew politely asked for an explanation as to the price discrepancy. The cab driver was rude, belligerent and then flipped him off. Such a sad way to end a special day! Hopefully the Brainerd/Baxter area will get Uber or Lyft soon so visitors do not have to deal with this type of service. read more

I was very disappointed tonight. I had to work late so I called about an hour or two early. I got done 15 minutes early and was waiting outside. Waited a half hour after I was supposed to be picked up and then did not show at all. Where not to long ago they showed up 20 minutes before hand and I felt rushed to get going. Which I feel I should not have to do.Unless I have to I will never take this can again!! Very disappointed! read more

Tried to be proactive and made sure they would pick us up... I called and was assured they would be able to drive us home from dinner in Nisswa... it's 25 degrees and I'm hitch hiking... these guys should definite have their license pulled. This is more then bad service, this is negligent and dangerous! read more

I can honestly say the worst experience with a taxi my entire life. He told me for 45 min the cab was "on the way" or one block away. Johnny the owners son was so rude, my poor 4 year old son was crying after waiting outside for 45 min. Every time I called Johnny treated me worse, and I was so polite and just wanting to know the truth so I could make an alternative plan to get my poor kid home. read more

My wife told me to call the cab company in advance because she called previously the day before her flight and almost didn't make the flight. So I called well in advance and was told they would be there. I called when they hadn't shown up when there were supposed to, and they said "no one wrote it down". So I ended up missing my flight and it cost me an extra $260 to get another flight. Sorry excuse for a cab company. read more
