There's something about Braga Shopping that I like, even though it's kind of dingy. It feels like you've stepped back to a time when they might accept travelers cheques. Braga doesn't have a lot of publicly accessible spots to charge a phone. There are a couple of outlets in the food court, just outside of Pingo Doce. And there's a bathroom. Yet I didn't even stop long enough to check to see if there's wifi. The flickering led lights, children blowing balloons while riding the animatronic animals, time warp decor, and couple going to third base made me feel like I'd entered some indie film. If you're looking for a spot to do a little creative writing, this food court is it. I had a bus to catch and didn't have time to ride this flashback. read more
