They sent a big crew to cut down two large trees in our yard. They were respectful of our property. After cutting the trees they removed the brush and wood and cleaned up the area. Pricing was fair. Doug read more

Requested a quote for cutting down several very tall trees and a large clump involving climbers and difficult terrain (hilly and wooded areas), plus trimming trees over the house. They came out to quote within a couple of days, and did the job two days later. A crew of five guys was here - they began at 7:30 am and were finished by 2:30 pm. They left the yard in great condition, and cleaned up nicely. They requested payment by the next day (we weren't home when they finished), which we happily did. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work they did. We will work with them again. read more

They gave a very low quote to cut down a few pines in my backyard, which they did. After they did so he called for payment and I paid that day. He mentioned he would come out to quote stump grinding separately although I did ask for it from the beginning. They called me several times to let me know they'd be out later that day or I called to ask when they'd be out to quote the stumps. The simply never showed up after repeating this about 4-5 times, also he never returned my 2 final calls. Low prices but not worth the unreliability - now we are going to find someone else to stump grind. My fault for paying for the trees "prematurely" I suppose. read more

These guys did a great job cutting down a few trees and grinding stumps for us. Very pleasant to work with. Walked us through everything and had some suggestions as well. read more

They did a GREAT job in trimming my big silver maple. Big tree between 2 houses and I am 100% pleased with their work!

Tree (Waukesha County) came out fine. After paying him (directly, not to Brady's Tree Service, wrote the check out to Darrell) when I asked about stump removal, I couldn't get any follow up. Left a terrible mess on the driveway. Keeps promising to send someone out to power wash...crickets. read more

The work they did was satisfactory, however their business practices leave much to be desired. In receiving the quote for removing a dead tree, I was surprised at the cost. I was told that the reason for the price was because the tree was in a precarious position and needed a lot of rope and pulleys, the process being very time consuming and involved. When the tree cutter actually came, he used a rope and proceeded to cut the trunk without any trouble. It was not a difficult procedure at all and took him 30 minutes at most. When questioning the person who provided the quote, he said "well, its not the way I would have done it. ..that guy is really good at what he does." I feel that I should have been charged for what was actually done and not for the way the person giving the quote would have done it. To me, this is a very unethical business practice. read more

I contracted with Brady's Tree Service to take down two large trees from our front yard, haul all wood 4 inches in diameter and greater to the back yard, and cut into 16 inch pieces for firewood. They did a perfect job and clean-up was exceptional. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. read more

Do not deal with this company. The receptionist is totally incompetent and sounds very old and confused. She mixed up my scheduled appointments-- one for my father and the other for me even though I confirmed my appointment with her a few days before the appointment. When I called back just to confirm the appointment on the scheduled day, she had assigned my scheduled time to someone else. I was going to give the company a second chance and the elderly receptionist tried putting me on hold but then apparently didn't know how to do that and I unfortunately was disconnected. I think this receptionist should enjoy her golden years and retire!! As patient as I am, three strikes and you're out! Not to mention after reading these reviews, the owner and his associates seem unreliable and one would really be taking a chance working with this company. Why take a chance-- hire a company that consistently gets 4 & 5 stars. There are many to choose from!! read more

Huh, I'm a bit stumped by all the bad reviews....(see what I did there?). March 14, 2016: A guy from Brady's tree service knocked on our door and asked if we needed any trees taken down. Seems they were nearby working in another yard and wanted to make their trip from Waukesha worth the time and gas it took to get to Greenfield by seeking other work in the area. We said that we were thinking about it, send someone over and give us an estimate. The boss man knocked on our door about an hour later. We had him look at 6 trees that were in awful shape. He gave us a quote and specified that they do stump removal for an additional fee, if we wanted that done. We said no to the stump removal, but the price was right for taking the trees down, so we gave them permission. Hubs and I both had to go to work that evening, however, and wouldn't be home to "supervise" and asked if they had a problem with that. They said that since is was later in the day, they would take the trees down, cut the logs up and stack them, then collect them the next day, along with payment. WHO DOES THAT?!?! We said ok. I got home first and although it was dark out, I could tell that they had done a pretty decent job. The yard had a few divots in it, but nothing that one wouldn't expect when having heavy machinery on it!. The wood was piled up in nice stacks near the street for collection the next day. About mid to late morning, the guys came back, as promised, picked up all the wood, and collected payment. I asked if we could put the total on 2 credit cards so that we weren't hit with a giant bill all at once and they said sure. Again, WHO DOES THAT?!?! I even made sure to watch my credit card statements for any suspicious charges and there weren't any! Now, I know that this review comes rather late in the game, but I have to say, we would probably use Brady's again. This time, we'd ask to keep the wood! 2/2019 read more

They did what they said they would do immediately. They removed three trees and trimmed back several more. They even arranged stump removal. Dana, the manager was kind and considerate and a joy to talk to. read more

In December of 2021, Brady Tree Services came to our home as a door-to-door sales technique, offering one full day's worth of service for Tree cutting, with two stump removals and to include the two dead trees that are hanging over our home. They came the next day and charged us via contract, $5000 as a day rate to get all of the services they promised completed. At the end of the day, they did not cut down the two dead trees that were hanging over the house, nor remove two stumps. They blamed it on not having a proper lift to cut down the trees. They said that their lift was down and that they would call us within one week to schedule follow-up services. They did not call us, and we had called them back. We received a message that they were on a two-week hiatus and would call us when they get back, which we did not receive. My husband and I have been calling at least twice a month since January in order to get this contract fulfilled and we have been getting the runaround about the lift still being down and that we have not been forgotten about. In April 2022 we finally got ahold of the owner, Josh and he apologized as he had made some changes to his company within the past few months. This made us hopeful, however after a few short weeks it was clear that we were still getting the runaround as he said he would call us back and did not. He also made statements that we were not forgotten about. Josh made a claim that he came out to survey the remaining work to be done on Tuesday, May 24th, however this is false as he never showed up to our home. (He was not seen on any of our several cameras, and I had been home all day, and no one rang our doorbell). After almost 7 months, the work has gone incomplete, our contract has not been fulfilled and we have not been refunded our paid-in-full services. read more

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! We asked this company for an estimate to remove three trees in April, 2020. The estimate was priced high and we declined. Three days later we awoke to one of our trees cut down in our yard by this company WITHOUT our consent! The lead man, Dana, tried to persuade us to pay for the tree removal. We said, "No." He then went to the dump truck and ordered the operator to unloaded the tree and tree waste onto our driveway. They then left and it took us all afternoon to clean up. Beware of using this tree service! Dawn H. read more

If they roll into your town after a natural disaster let them keep driving around. Wait a few days and some more reputable LOCAL people will start poking around after they get their feet under them. They are expensive and you don't get the service or timeliness that would expect or deserve after your life has been flipped upside down by Mother Nature. USE LOCAL LOCAL LOCAL!! read more

Said the price included clean up. We came home from being out of town and they left all the tree debris in our yard. My husband placed a call to the company to inquire about the clean up and the company has not returned the call to date. Disheartening that no one seems to honor their word anymore. read more

Where do I start?! PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS COMPANY FOR SERVICE Received a quote from Dana who seemed like a nice enough guy and knowledgeable about tree removal. Within a few days his crew was at our house to remove 3 extremely large trees. Trees were taken down all in one day and mist of the debris and wood was put out by the ditch for pick up, Our quote included tree removal, clean up, yard repair and stump grinding. Work was done on a Tuesday, he was pretty firm about getting paid at the end of the day. According to him the wood, branches, etc would be cleared off our property 'in about 3 days' and the stump grinding would be done 'next week'. One week and 2 days later nothing had been taken away and the stumps were ground out the day after the trees were taken down. During the week we made several phone calls and texts to ask when they were coming to pick up the waste. Some phone calls were answered, some were not, text messages went unanswered. Interesting that all 4 of their trucks broke down at the same time and that is the reason they could not come to get the debris! Other excuses were it will be done today,it will be done before noon, etc etc, you get the picture. Luckily one phone call hooked us up to one of the owners who answered who seemed to know nothing about the job as he had just gotten into town. Also of interest was Dana drove through our neighborhood shortly after the phone call connection , checking on two other jobs they had recently had done work for AND NONE OF THEIR DEBRIS HAD BEEN PICKED UP EITHER. We stopped Dana and again he had some lame excuse about his crew. Funny how all of a sudden about 20 minutes later the owner shows up and a truck shows up to pick up our debris. The owner did apologize and said he wanted to make things right. We had some damage done to our yard that he threw some seed on and also had damage to A garden with landscape timbers that he said they would be out in the morning to fix. It has been one week since the owner was here and we have yet to get damage to our garden fixed. After talking to our neighbor about his terrible experience with them we have determined..... price gauging, terrible service and poor communication is what you will get from this company. STAY AWAY read more

We hired Brady's tree service in Englewood Florida after Hurricane Ian on November 9th 2022. They completed the job except for the tree stump. It was almost 7pm when they got done and Josh said his father would be out in the next 2 days to grind the stump. I paid them in full. Englewood is a small town and if a local business didn't finish a job it would be all over town. After 2 days I called Josh and he said he forgot and he would send his dad over the next day. This went on for a while and now they are back in Wis. I called Josh and he now says he no longer works for them. He gave me a number for Jesse. He said he didn't know his father never finish the Job. I have a estimate for someone to do the stump for $1000. He said he took pride in his company and would send me a check. That has been since Feb and still no check. Do not hire this company. Lynda K. read more

Totally unreliable. Came out gave me a bid but then after I told my neighbor about them and she had a somewhat bigger job the dumped me and never even cut the tree Branches from my neighbors yard that we're coming into my yard while they were there doing her work. Don't return phone calls. Whatever you do call someone else read more

Brady's Tree Service was trimming our neighbor's tree, but chose to drive their equipment...heavy machines...all over our yard and driveway, without permission. read more

We had Brady's Tree Service come and remove 3 enormous trees in our backyard - two were partially over our house and one was partially over our neighbors. They did a phenomenal job removing the trees. The only issue was they broke one of our windows on accident (you guys, these were HUGE trees - so we expected something and were glad it was one window - it could have been MUCH worse for their size and location). The awesome thing is that they replaced it right away with no issues. We are looking to have some more tree work done in the near future and wouldn't hesitate to call these guys back... especially because our neighbors on both sides of us are having tree work done by another company (cough, cough, Rockstar Landscaping) and they have hit our house and garage door - while I am home mind you - and have not said one word... I'd say hire Brady's and definitely stay away from Rockstar. read more

I would not recommend Brady's Tree Service. At the first meeting it was great, Josh was friendly and listened to all my concerns for trimming the trees in the yard. Then, without notice they showed up 30 minutes before I had to leave. I described what needed to be done, because Josh was not there, but barely half of what was discussed was competed. Then they showed up on a Saturday morning, without advance notice, and I was out of town. I tried to describe over the phone what needed to be done, but things were missed again. This time they damaged a downspout, trimmed some more, used my garbage bins to haul debris, piled other branches on my burning pile instead of hauling them away and left branches throughout the yard. Now Josh asked for payment. I told him I needed the downspout repaired, the lawn fixed, and the trimming completed. He refused and sent me a bill for the full amount. If you want the job done right, don't hire Brady's Tree Service. read more

Fantastic service for a reasonable price! The crew took care of all the trees on our lot in an afternoon - thinning out several overgrown trees and dropping a handful of dead ash trees. Dana was easy to work with and we are thrilled with the results. Highly recommended! read more

Work was adequate but pricing SHADY. Received a quote from Josh to cut and remove fallen limbs from willow tree. I specifically pointed out one large limb that had a large split in it that needed to come down. While working on the tree Dana decided that limb was not part of the original estimate and wanted another $1800 to remove that limb.We settled on $700-even though this limb was pointed out specifically when I was getting the price. Would not recommend! read more

Brady's tree service came to my property to remove two trees. They did just that. It was six weeks later when they came and removed the stumps that I requested to have removed. In the process of them cutting down the trees, they damaged my siding. They offered to pay for it, but have since been avoiding my phone calls and not calling me back. Incredibly disappointed by the incomplete job done by Brady's Tree Service. Our tree was taken down earlier than expected and we were promised the wood would be removed the next day. They stacked the huge pieces and branches by the curb but blocked part of the sidewalk. It's been a week and a half, and no one has returned to clear the wood. We were promised return calls which never happened. They responded immediately with a quote, but now that the job needs to be finished, no one will answer our calls. read more

Neighbor had 8 trees taken down near our lot line while we were on vacation in Feb. He asked for permission for Brady to use our driveway which I said yes. Brady proceeded to cut through 2 other neighbors lot and my backyard with their machine without permission and destroying my garden fence. They never came back to clean up their mess along my ditch which I must keep clear to prevent flooding in the basement and driveway When I returned home I couldn't use the snow blower because the driveway was filled with branches and sawdust. They never returned my phone call alerting them to their lack of respect and damage. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Sloppy and unprofessional work. No diligence and follow up with their customers. No regard for damages and they always leave unreported damages. Look up this company on BBB.org. They have an F rating. That should tell you enough but if you need more convincing here it goes. These guys do not care about collateral damage. They do a tremendous amount of damage and don't report anything to you. They took down very large trees in my yard in spring when it was still soggy. They didn't use ropes to lower any large limbs or trunks and whatever was below took damage. This included major limbs in my juniper bushes, cement garden statues and huge divots in my lawn. They use a tracked vehicle with a claw to remove limbs from the yard. This vehicle weighs thousands of pounds and carries thousands more. They told me they would use plywood to protect my lawn but Brady Tree Service does not do what they say. They put down a total of 2 sheets of plywood and the grass was trashed everywhere else. This vehicle ripped out 30 feet of garden edging - that was my problem too. They took apart my neighbors split rail fence to protect it and never reassembled. They told me my neighbor would do it. I told them to come back and fix the lawn. They sprinkled 99 cent bags of topsoil and grass seed like it was gold flakes. Of course it didn't grow, especially because the ground was so compacted by this tracked machine. I asked to come back and aerate and fix my neighbors grass which was completely trashed and they did not respond. Their cleanup is very poor also. Don't get me started on their stump grinding! I have shrubbery growing where they missed major parts of the stump. read more
