Basically if you live outside Washington DC proper and you have only one outstanding ticket there's nothing they can do as long as you don't start a business, plan on purchasing property, etc in Washington DC proper. They are not allowed to affect your credit score over camera tickets. Even if they send this to a collections agency there's basically nothing they can do. Theoretically if they catch your vehicle in DC they can boot it. But in my case I sold my car and don't have a car so there's nothing they can do.
