If I could give this office negative stars I most definitely would. I've never seen a lawyer talk to a client the way Tucci has talked to me since he's been assigned to my case. Tucci himself has shown me that racism is still a problem and if you're a person of color, he WILL NOT fight for you AT ALL. I called for a consultation today. His office manager is absolutely lovely and assured me that I was calling the right place for my situation. I called his office after getting an advertisement in the mail. It was similar to a magazine and full of information and positive reviews. Also showcased his expertise and service in the Marine Corps. Before I was off the phone with her, I had missed a call from Mr. Tucci. Such a positive off the bat but that's where the positive stops, unfortunately. Upon calling him back, I could tell he was, a less than pleasant mood when I was on the phone with him. He was extremely belittling and told me to shut up before telling me that I don't fucking listen after he asked me a question regarding why my last lawyer did not file anything regarding my military service. When I explained to him what I was told by my lawyer, he became very agitated and said with a tone of annoyance and anger that "i don't fucking listen" and "for the 5th time, is this a no answer?" Unfortunately it was not a yes or no answer that I was given, and all I was trying to do was communicate that with this gentleman. Upon his lesson professional response, I told him to please have a great day, god bless you, but I would be finding another lawyer. it's unfortunate that all these reviews are very positive, but it leads me to think that there is some sort of bargain for these reviews. If this is his first interaction with a potential client, and rather than being a listener, he cussed me out. Why would anybody want to pay over $12,000 to be represented by this lawyer if he's not even going to listen to you for two minutes explaining the situation that you're in ? I like how responsive are Mr Vincent Tucci and Ms Barbara to their clients. I called him for free consultation only after 3 days of my DUI. Right away I signed him up to be my lawyer without hesitation or checking other lawyers. I liked that the same day after I signed him up to be lawyer, he told me all the steps I need to take. I took all the steps even before my court date. He told me that I might get charge with Hit and run even though on May first, there was no indication of that. He advanced my case, I got dismissed for hit and run. I got convicted with misdemeanor DUI with no jail time. I also got good discount for the fees so had to pay. We discussed my case a bit and then he went in to the fees, and how I was going to pay. I told him my circumstances, getting divorced, currently unemployed, and so on but that I could and would work something out. He was more than willing to work out a payment arrangement but wanted an upfront payment right there and then. I let him know that he was the first attorney that I was speaking to, and that I was not ready to make a decision at that moment as I have scheduled another consultation with another attorney today. He answered with " You are wasting my time. You can't afford me." tearing up the paperwork and or notes he had taken. He had an absolutely disgusting demeanor. Telling me to get out of his office. How he spoke down to me, wow! This is the person he is. Using my circumstances to put me down saying that I can not afford him as if he were some big prize. Big... but prize? Definitely not. We start talking money, pricing, he quotes me 7,500 I'm like wooooow ok not bad at all! due to the severity of my case this was the cheapest quote I got. I was like okay cool but then he starts being stupid aggressive with "how much are you willing to put down?" I told him I would put down 2k before my court date next month and he said "no no you have to put something down RIGHT NOW because there is A WARRANT FOR YOUR ARREST!" I asked him why would there be a warrant for my arrest???? he said because you got a second dui with a probation violation,....... you fucking moron! im on informal probation and you would have known that if you did what I asked and did the simplest thing and looked up my case before sounding like an idiot. So NO there isn't a warrant for my arrest if there were they would have kept me in jail last week when I went in for my second dui and I wouldn't be here typing this review.
