My experience with this office has been anything but pleasant. During the consultation for braces for my 11 year old son, this orthodontist had my son is tears. He was going on and on talking about blood and the procedure that would be performed by a oral surgeon. After hearing the word blood used for the third time, I looked over at my son only to see a little boy scared to death listening to what this guy was saying. My son was so scared after the consultation I had to call and cancel all future appointments with this office. This doctor had zero tact and compassion for my son and no regret for even making him so scared. If you see that you have upset some, especially a child, wouldn't you immediately apologize?
Even after canceling my appoints, I decided to go ahead and go to the consultation with the oral surgeon that they referred us to, to have a baby tooth removed. When I got to the oral surgeon, I was told by the front desk girls that they repeatedly asked Dr. Grants office for my sons xrays and referral slip, but Dr. Grants office never replied to the request. Since I was a few doors away, I decided to go into the Dr. Grants office after seeing the oral surgeon and ask why they couldn't send the information over as requested? The response from the smug girl at the front desk was, since I am not a patient, they can not send any info over. I find this to a power trip on her part. Seriously, my son's dentist is in the same office. You sit right next to another person that could have actually help us in some way. Dr. Grant and his office staff showed no actual concern for our situation and brushed us off like we didn't matter. An office I will spend my money at will go above and beyond any exceptions for the welfare of their patients. It doesn't take too much to be a decent person and show a little kindness. This orthodontist has a terrible demeanor and it trickles down to his office staff as well. This is sad because they are in the very same office as an amazing pediatric dentist. read more
