He ground down about a dozen old stumps and leveled the ground. Good price. Great work!

If I could I even would remove the one star given. Estimate received, date for a few trees to be…read moreremoved, no show! I should have seen the forest for the trees, punt intended & I should have called ANY other tree service. After calling again to find out status of when they would be here a few days later, I finally spoke with Andria, or similar name, the owner whom provided the estimate originally. Was advised that someone would be headed my way shortly. One guy did show, in a pick up truck late in the afternoon, late! Assured me of my concern of the work before him, 1 person only, the late time & the size of one live oak that leaned heavily over my privacy fences & more importantly, hoovered over a new large shed home on my property. Well, this sole worker did indeed nicely remove a rather small pine too close to my HVAC residence system & stacked the cut ups nicely too. Getting to the meat of my discord, after night time was upon us, I asked this sole worker that the darkness was a concern & that live oak tree was huge. Sadly, my error, I accepted his response that he was well experienced & no issues. I return back into my home, ate dinner & went out again to see & check on this guy. Well, nowhere was he to be found. His pick up was gone & I looked for him around the property, not anywhere in sight. However, I almost fell over when I then saw that huge live oak onto the fence, onto the new shed home roof & huge branches covering a huge area. Those branches caused even more damage to a lawnmower, several memorial statues, grave markers for several deceased pets!!!!! This was all on 06/21/2019 & even today, 01/12/2020 the skid marks of the pick ups tires are still clearly tattooed onto my lawn from the workers hasty departure! Not kidding! I immediately searched throughout the property to ensure that this guy was not crushed by the fallen tree. Good for him, he wasn't but when I phoned the ''owner'' asking WTF, in a dismissive manner she advised not to worry that tomorrow she be by with a crew to clean up & correct any mistakes, so, basically I should chill & not make a big deal!!! Again, my error, I accepted her proposal. Next morning, with daylight, WOW, the real scope of the damages suffered were semi-disclosed. I couldn't yet see under the huge branches, the danage to the shed roof, etc. Horrible!!!! Waited & waited & waited for them to show. No show, you guessed it! Called her again only to be told she got tied up with another ''scheduled'' job. WTF!!! As if this nightmare wasn't enough, she kind of scolded me with, ''you know, he (the sole sent worker who caused all this destruction) was injured''! I asked why he didn't ask for my assistance as I am a physician & they knew that replied "he didn't want to bother you", WTF!!!! Was then told that they be by Monday, a couple of days thereafter as that would give the so called injured worker time to recuperate, again, I facing a mess with the downed tree reluctantly said okay. You know, many other companies would not want to get involved in cleaning up a mess caused by someone else's negligence, rightfully so, fearing making this worse & liability, just factual. They never showed over several days & wouldn't even answer my calls. Thankfully I insist on any home work done be by a licensed & more importantly, insured. These were. The other nightmare ensued. Their underwriter, Sheila Williams of Partners Insurance Agency in Gainesville, Florida were of absolute no use whatsoever when contacted about the suffered damages & what next. Thankfully also I documented with photographic evidence the damages. Over the next several days I was able to contact a tree service provider locally whom came over & assessed the tree status & the posing danger that dangling tree still being held by the fence & shed roof from fully breaking off the trunk & engulfing the several fence panels posts & above all cracking the shed in half. They put a few guys into the job of removing safely the tree from the fences & shed roof & cutting the huge tree trunk into about 4' pieces & off the fencing & shed. There was many other people I needed to deal with, like; someone to remove all the tree parts from my property, a big job for sure, many trips too, the insurance worthless adjuster, their hired gun, an adjuster from Jacksonville, Florida, whom down played the damages, repair costs (fence panels & posts), parts (shed roof), tax, tree removal, 1 provider for removing from fencing/shed, 1 provider for removing the tree segments, grave statues damaged, lawn mower, etc., etc., etc. That's when the real BS started & nickel & diming by their insurance carrier, Burlington Insurance Company (an umbrella carrier under IFG Companies in Hartford, CT. ), in North Carolina, adjuster, Rick Hitchcock & their Florida hired public adjuster, Case Meacham of Apex Claims Services, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida. I settled case for a couple grand in disgust 12-31-2019.Stay clear of A.G.L. Tree Svs, LLC.
