Gas station time!…read more Let's go to the trusty default three star Yelp gas station review check list: Good price? Check! At the time it was $2.01 (now $1.78) which is currently a steal compared to the overpriced stuff that we're paying for here in PA thanks to one term Tommy that's a good 40 plus cents per gallon more expensive. Did I trip over any random tire shards, radiator parts or left behind wing nuts? No, although the station has an unbelievably small footprint and turning around to get back out onto Union Square is challenging. Also worth noting is that it looks like the Air Force was using the area for bombing runs as there are divots, craters and potholes galore. Easy on/off to the highway/road of my choosing? Not really as making a left turn onto Union Square is hella-difficult unless you're doing it at 3AM. Human intervention needed? Yes, but because it's Jerz it's all good as there is no need to get out of the car to freeze one's niblets off. What saves this from being a two star review is that they had run out of 87 octane but were pumping 92 for the 87 price. Score! With that octane bonus save, three star gas station bliss achieved.

Today is the day the attendant demanded that all patrons obey the sign, with the temperature at a biting 20 degrees. So my child had to withstand the cold while I filled up. Well, that's not entirely true. I didn't fill up. My $60 sale quickly turned into a $10 sale. I'll get the rest somewhere else, and I won't be back, unless I'm on fumes.

Great gas prices compared to other places around our area…read more The only thing that hardly ever works is getting a receipt , you 90% of the time have to go inside to get it. The inside is like a small convenience store. You can get lotto as well. Just there is a smell or you can say an aroma that inside. So I try to just get gas there.

The gasoline they sell is not top-tier but it is also higher priced then gas stations nearest them. Granted they are located in the countryside and for locals it is convenience that brings them to where they are situated. Perhaps they feel like it's easier to sell fuel at a higher price point even though the gas they sell is nothing I'd put in my car let alone my lawn mower. A little older then recently this place had accusations regarding the pumps output in gallons not matching the gallons listed and amount pumped into someone's vehicle. Lastly, the way the business is situated make for an extremely inconvenient situation during busy times as the parking lot and filling station area blend into one narrow strip that's difficult to pull in and out of to get a spot for gas or to just run into the store. You can visibly watch this as you are in line waiting at the traffic light next to the gas station. I have watched more people drive over the curb because of this then I can count.

My current ride is a B-10 model Audi SQ5. So you have to know I'm not taking that investment to a place where they are going to do anything but what's right to keep that expensive ride operating as it should. I buy good, high end, cars but I run them (and I've run them hard as I use to make my money as a road warrior doing 35K-40K/year on the road) for eight to ten years before rolling them over. My last ride was a 2018 that had 300+K on it before I got this new one. This Valvoline isn't cheap but they are competitively priced. Especially if you avail yourself of the coupons. They do a thorough job of checking the points that are addressable for routine maintenance. I've been bringing my cars here for years. They caught things early that have saved me money long term. They stand behind their work as nothing goes perfect 100% of the time anyplace (98+%, sure but if it falls into that 1%-2% just acknowledge/fix it and get it back to 100%) so when I catch something that doesn't seem quite right I've brought it back to them and they make sure I'm happy before I leave. The staff is competent and friendly. They're fast but not rushing you out until you're finished. I'm in, get what I need done with a run down on key points of maintenance I can trust to make decisions behind without a sales pitch and a heads up if they notice something serious that can save me coin by addressing it earlier rather than later but also a. "This doesn't need to be addressed now but you're going to want to think about...", for later consideration, and out the door is reasonable time. I give it a recommend.
