I recently went on a day trip to this Buc-ee's location - at least 1 hr drive each way. I honestly…read morethought I had been to this location before, but I guess not. This was on a Sunday, and both the lot and store were busy as an angry beehive. It took me maybe 20 minutes to get gas due to the lines and waiting...and some waiting because some people parked at the pump and then went inside to "shop first" as the gas at Buc-ee's is pay-at pump only. Afterwards, I parked in a normal space and went inside to peruse the store. After some fun window shopping through the clothing, home goods, etc. I purchased some food. My objective was to spend my gift card, and I already knew that I wanted to get some of that famous brisket. I ended up with brisket, some spicy garlic jerky and a beverage from the cooler section. I'm still amazed that I can easily spend 1.5-2 hours in a gas station. I still enjoy perusing through a Buc-ee's and hope the novelty never wears off. Maybe next time, I'll try the car wash just to see how it compares to my local station. I stay stop by and see for yourself, but I am clearly biased.

I didn't see any kiosks where you could order. Plenty of bathrooms and nice and clean. I love their seasonal selection; they had a few swimsuits for sale and some fun sun shirts. I was tempted to pick up a black button up set with neon sign print (with the Buc-ee's mascot in them), but I ended up just picking up a bumper sticker of which they had several cute designs. We got a cheesesteak burrito and the chicken and fries box. The burrito was just okay, but the chicken and fries was delicious! It also came with two free sauces of your choice and a ice cream bar. We tried the blueberry cheesecake and it was yummy; just missing the crumbly graham cracker crust. We also got our classic favorites: beaver chips, the baked skinny cheese curls, chocolate covered espresso beans, the roasted sugary nuts, and some of their jerky (overpriced, but tasty). This is a new Love's Traveler Plaza that opened up just off of Interstate 95 in Mims, Florida (just…read morenorth of Titusville, Florida). It is extremely easy to find, just get off of the Highway 46 exit and it is pretty much right there. One thing that I like about this gas station opening, is that it put all the other gas stations in a particular find as they were all extremely overpriced. It is funny, the loves opened up and everyone dropped about a dime a gallon. This particular Love's Travel Plaza has a Hardee's restaurant attached to it, so if you want something a little more substantial than the products that they offer in the convenience store part, you can just walk into the Hardee's and get some decent fast food. Of course, the convenience store part at the usual items that you would find in a gas station convenience store. Pricing is competitive and the service is relatively friendly and professional. There is plenty of parking had a little dog park next to the air machine. All in all, I would definitely recommend a stop here.

The gas is about what gas is going for and it was a convenient stop to get gas and get back on the road. All in all, I will give it four stars. It is your basic gas station.

Love's nearly always does a great job from the initial approach all the way through the store to…read morethe restrooms. In my 140+ reviews of Love's, I've only had a couple of duds. This isn't a dud. Easy to access from the Interstate, it's the second fuel stop at this exit. Wide entrance area and while the first turn is for both cars and trucks, they have separate entrances into the station. Use caution as the trucks can't see as well and definitely can't stop suddenly. The pump area was clean of trash and they have the extended squeegees so I was able to clean the entire windshield of my sprinter van while the fuel flowed. As for the fuel, you get a 10 cent discount per gallon for scanning the barcode on your Love's app. Inside, coffee and snacks and a wall of coolers with sodas, water and juices. For years, when traveling home to Sanford at 1-2am after concerts and other events, there were no gas stations open for miles. Now, we have Love's! The staff here are always friendly, and they do a fantastic job keeping the store clean and well-organized. While they don't have the high-end Schaerer coffee machines that grind and brew fresh coffee, every time I've visited, the coffee has been fresh and delicious. If you're hungry, there's a Hardee's inside the store, and their burgers are fantastic! Just be aware that Hardee's closes at 11pm. This Love's offers just about everything you might need while traveling - from charging cords and walking sticks to radios (including retro models), AC/DC fans, refrigerators, cookers, lights, AC units, and more. They also have a decent selection of unique metal art, hand tools, battery power supplies, CB radios, headsets, walkie-talkies, and Garmin GPS systems and watches. All in all, this Love's was a much-needed addition to the area, and I highly recommend stopping in if you're passing through Mims!
