Hogan and his team are badasses. They dropped a replacement transmission in my Cooper real quick and now my Cooper's shifting is smooth like a babies bottom. The level of professionalism in their environment is like none other. There is no shop drama. They all play together nicely. Jay always keeps you informed, helped in locating a rare replacement gearbox. There is never any confusion there. I've had a history of battling with mechanics, but as long as this place exists, life is going to be smooth. Thank you guys for giving my baby a second life. I WILL work on my shifting game, despite that I teach drivers how to sync their gearboxes while downshifting. :-) They said I suck.

I had a flat tire yet again - (what's up with all these screws and nails on New York City roads?!)…read more I called up Nor Cross Service Station and spoke to Abi (he's the manager on Sundays). Abi was friendly and encouraged me to bring the car in. Customer service is great, Abi provided an accurate wait time and explained the pros/cons of plugging the tire. Didn't try to upsell me with unnecessary services. Abi encouraged me to wait at the nearby Dunkin Donuts (attached to the Gulf gas station). Sarfitt was the mechanic that worked on the tire. He plugged the tire and swapped out the donut (spare tire, not the Dunkin doughnut) that I had on the car. He placed the donut tire back inside my car and I was on my way! The prices of some of the services are a bit higher than other shops in the area (for example, their tire rotation is $30 while other shops might charge $20 for a tire rotation). However, it's hard to beat their customer service - seems like there was constant foot traffic and people coming in and out for oil changes and annual motor vehicle inspections. I was talking to other customers and it seems like this car service shop has been around for about 30 years and it owned by a friendly, philanthropic guy named Mr. Singh. Thank you Abi and Sarfitt!

Fellow residents of Whitestone please heed my warning, stay away from this place…read more You will be scared into buying parts you don't need and charged 3-30x what the parts actually cost. (they wanted to charge $60 for a gasket, Rofl. Found the same one on ebay for $2). Same thing for an iac valve that i didn't even need (I'll go into detail shortly). The valve is $80 they said it was a $400 part because "no one had it"... first link on Google was 80 bucks free shipping. They will try to take you for everything they can. I brought my car for 1 oil change and suddenly I began having idle issues and throwing a check engine light after getting my car back from them. I go back and ask what they think the problem is. This is where they tell me I need a new iac valve that will cost 700 dollars including labor. With my bullshit detector ringing loud in the back of my head I ask how much the part is, that's where they tell me 400 bucks. After checking the actual price of the part ($80) I put 2 and 2 together and got the hell out of there. After WEEKS of trouble shooting my vehicle doing everything from checking & cleaning valves, throttle bodies, checking for faults in the wiring and nearly resetting my ecu, I discover a tiny little valve that seems to be missing a little rubber cap. Those ******* bastards removed the cap to create a small and inconspicuous vacuum leak that would force the cars computer to throw that code. They were going to pocket the entire 700 without even buying or replacing the part by putting the rubber cap back on. I bought a pack of the caps I needed for 25 cents, put it on, and the car has been running mint for months now. I'm so sick that this scum is allowed to have a 'business' in my town.
