There's usually about five different employees working the cash register on any given day. These employees are some of the most friendliest/kindest people I've ever come across in an convenience store (not to mention from a big corporate player like Chevron) . What's more impressive is the consistency of how these employees treat customers. I hope the field managers/ partners/owners know how appreciative myself and the many others are of this kind of rare and consistent premium treatment. It's disappointing that they don't have two of the most common pizza toppings, but it's even more disappointing the lack of customer service. It was clear the staff was there for a paycheck, not to actually help customers. Godfather's has changed so much--from a customer-centric family-oriented pizza place to nothing special. I was nervous and honestly a little scared because I had no idea where I was. From the moment I walked in, the cashier was so kind and reassuring. Her friendliness immediately helped calm my nerves. Then Terry, the maintenance man, came to my rescue. He graciously took time out of his day to fix my tire in the blazing afternoon heat. It wasn't an easy repair, but he stuck with it, even using his own tools to get me safely back on the road. The kindness and generosity I was shown meant more than I can say. They made me feel like I was back home. It's people like Terry and the wonderful cashier who remind me why I'm proud to be from the South. The service was friendly though I felt sorry for the attendant who had a previous customer pull off stealing $75 worth of gas without paying.
