I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this office, the staff and the doctor. I have…read morebeen seeing Dr. Schroeder for many years and could not be more pleased with his new office and staff. Staff at doctor's offices are a big thing for me. The person answering the phone, scheduling your appointment and greeting you when you come in, say a lot about a company so why should healthcare be any different? The ones who answer the phone and greet you at this office are amazing. My favorite is Jeff. He is so nice, jokes around with me and is easy to talk to. I don't dread calling in there because I know he will take care of me. Then once I go in, it is always a very pleasant experience. Dr. Schroeder is so wonderful. He listens to you, sympathizes and also makes sure to educate you on the whys, dos and don'ts of things. He doesn't make you feel bad about yourself for things, but rather tries to offer solutions and education on how you can change those things yourself or tips on how to help it. Seriously if you are looking for a new primary, he is the one for you and his fabulous office staff will take care of you like one of their own!

Oh the other hand his nurse Lesley is the rudest person I've ever encountered. If I'm correct you should have to like helping people when you enter the medical field and not make the patient feel like a burden. The past few days I've been in excruciating pain and have been seen by two other doctors who unfortunately don't know what's causing my pain. I called Nebraska Medicine eagle run clinic about a half hour ago and was so offended by her attitude I am writing a review... When I explained what was going on to her and told her I've been to two different ERs and had the nastiest tone in her voice saying she didn't know what I was talking about and said she needed records of that. As if my pain isn't real. I'm really considering going somewhere else but I love my doctor. I'm really offended by this nurse. If she wasn't there I would praise this clinic with my whole being. I'm defiantly calling and asking to speak to a manager.

He voluntarily gave up those privileges in Iowa as a result. These are facts that can be independently verified. Dr Finley's primary concern at this time seems to be promoting whatever drug the pharmaceutical companies have provided samples for, or bought the office lunch in exchange for promotion. He has actively discouraged me from discussing prescription changes with my psychiatrist. He has gone out of his way to invalidate my opinions, to the point of visibly rolling his eyes when I expressed an preference for 30 day prescriptions instead of 90 day prescriptions.

I used to love this Urgent Care, which says a lot based on how often and for what reasons I found…read moremyself there. But, since rebranding as CHI, it's decreased in a couple areas. First, you must beware when you are being given items to take home for care, such as braces and splints. They now partner with See the Trainer in Bellevue. You sign the authorization with no clue as to the price, and the nurses do not know either. Then, 6 weeks later, you receive a bill for an outrageous amount. In my case, it was a $79 bill for a brace that cost $26.57 on Amazon. On top of that, I was seen (same visit, mind you) for a ankle injury. I was told that when the nurse practitioner looked at the x-rays, it was severely sprained and that I should feel better in "a couple weeks." A few days later, I found it odd that I had not received a follow-up call (as usual, when the specialist reviews the x-rays). I called and requested that it be looked at. Turns out, I had fractured my ankle and the bone was chipped on the side, with a recovery time of 6-8 weeks. Had I never called back, I may never have known this. If you are paying the price for an urgent care, the service needs to be better. And over the last year or two, it has declined. Sure the building is new and looks awesome, but when I am in an urgent care, I am more concerned with the quality of treatment than the awesomeness of the waiting area. I will be going to UNMC from now on.
