It was Spring Break; the students were gone and we had an admissions rep all to ourselves (our little group consisted of three potential students and two parents). Great tour, beautiful campus! Everything was updated, clean, attractive. Our questions were answered promptly and with authority. I do recall there is a big emphasis on studying abroad as my son was very interested in this. Flash forward to an "accepted students" weekend event. Tour was fine, information sessions were helpful, but could the admin not keep the current students from drinking on the college lawn while there were prospective students and families there? I'm hardly a prude...did my partying over four years on two college campuses in Tennessee, but I thought a "visitor weekend" should have been a little better orchestrated! Worked itself out...my son chose Wake Forest. Maybe they party just as much, but I sure didn't see it on our visit weekend!

It's a very cool place. The librarians know right where everything is and are always ready to help. They will drop whatever they are doing to make sure you find exactly what you're looking for. The layout is spacious and gorgeous. Parent Conference area strengthens those good old fashioned values. Family, Education, and Guaranteed Success. The game room is awesome! The campus and staff are committed to providing a safe learning environment for faculty as well as students. The Cafeteria has healthy options to fit any and every dietary/nutritional need. No need to fear the dreaded "freshman 15". 5 Stars!!
