Went to visit my son's grave and they couldn't tell me where it was! I came from out of town and they told me to come back the next day! Are you kidding me???? When I finally got to see my son's plot, it didn't have a name on it. It was a mess. It looked like a dirt pile. Like trash had been buried there not a beautiful soul who suffered from cancer and survived 9/11. These people are monsters. When I called to ask them about the name missing on the gave, DaveBoyko was belligerent and rude! That is NOT the way you address a grieving mother!!! SHAME ON YOU.!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!! read more

See all

They never return your calls after the money is paid the really don't care. They lied to my brother when he called saying she was cremated when she wasn't. My sister passed away in NJ they aren't even licensed in NJ to get her they had to send another funeral home to do it. This whole time was a disgrace no respect for the dead or family. They don't deserve even 1 star. read more

I don't give this place not even a one star. The place looks a mess trash everywhere tombstones broken and all over the place. When you try to visit your loved ones the spot is empty because they take out what you put. David is rude and don't not care. All he cares about is the money. read more

David Boylo is a joke. The whole establishment is unprofessional and unorganized. It's so depressing. It's been two months since my mother's death and still no death certificate they take no accountability. They don't answer calls. They don't keep appointment set. They truly take advantage of people in a vulnerable state. When I went to pick my 's remains, there was ashes all over the place as they forgot to dust off the urn just disgusting. read more

Thank you for your services and work on my great uncle. He looked so much like himself, it brought me to tears knowing he was cared for. My mother and I waited 1hr for him and he said he was busy watching you tube videos didn't know we where there. Submitted a complaint with BBB but the funeral home did not respond to them. Extremely disappointed unprofessional read more

Mr. David Boyko has handled all of my deceased family members over the past 6 years, from my Uncle, Grandmother, Grandfather, and Mother. These were all at the wishes of themselves. It has been one of the worst experiences in my life trying to work with him to ensure anything is done properly, or on time, with any sort of communication from him. He seemingly has zero respect for the deceased or their families. For context, in December 2021, my mother passed away. Mr. Boyko was able to obtain all the paperwork he needed signed and dated from my Grandmother, who lived 10 minutes away from his funeral home. I, however, had COVID-19 and lived over 1,200 miles away in Louisiana at the time. Due to my sickness, I had missed a handful of calls from Mr. Boyko, who didn't need to be calling me in the first place, given he already had all the signatures he needed. Fast forward to October 2022, my grandmother passed away. I flew up before she did and was there while she passed. Mr. Boyko, upon being notified arrived at our house within 2 hours to remove the deceased. Upon entering, his first words were "Oh, you're the one from Louisiana, right? You were ignoring my phone calls. Maybe we can sort out your mother after we deal with this, huh?" and laughed. No condolences for my Grandmother who'd just passed, no respect for the dead. Solely worried about paperwork and getting another paycheck. The day after my Grandmother's passing at his funeral home, I apologized to him privately for missing his previous phone calls almost a year ago, noting I could've handled it more professionally. I was told "All is forgiven." with a firm handshake, and yet he still had continued to make this the most painful process for me in the wake of the death of my last living family member. In the 2 and a half weeks following, I had reached out to his funeral home multiple times daily, attempting to get a call back from him so I could obtain a death certificate. He refused to return ALL of my phone calls, emails, and texts. He had no problem returning phone calls to others who inquired for me, who legally, he shouldn't have been speaking with (my fiance's father, my cousin's husband, etc.). He has done everything in his power to exclude me from the process by ignoring every inquiry and going through every other person to avoid me, solely in retaliation for missing a few of his phone calls when I was sick. This man, the owner, Mr. David Boyko, is a completely man child and cares nothing more than for his payday. He is a weasel. I could not possibly recommend anybody EXCEPT for him for any sort of cremation or likewise funeral services. On a positive note, the "answering service" he's hired, AKA his own personal receptionist, is lovely. She understood and empathized with me. She herself seemed agitated by Mr. Boyko's actions, rightfully so, and added a few choice words of her own when paging him. She had my back, even though it didn't result in him ever calling me back. She offered to page him hourly for me, until he'd return my call. Great receptionist! read more

LET ME TELL YOU OUR EXPERIENCE WITH BOYKO Funeral services: They totally suck! They told us nothing about the cement lining that should have been set down, they took forever to get us the death certificate, lied about it. They wouldn't answer or return any of our calls, they don't clear/clean or even mow properly. If you have a loved one there chances are they are covered with overgrown grass...so damn ghetto. They took advantage of our pain. If you can afford somewhere else please bypass boyko funeral services. My family totally regrets dealing with them and if i could change it i def would. Not worth the aggravation, i would have rather spent a lot more to bury my MOTHER in a better place. I was just there and had to physically drag away a black trash bag of dead flowers. DON'T DO IT TO YOURSELF! IF I COULD RATE BELOW ZERO I WOULD!! HORRIBLE PLACE AND UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE STUCK. read more

In a family's time of need, a reputable funeral director eases a lot of the stress associated with a death. Boyko is not one of these. This funeral home does the bare minimum, does not even attend the burial. You get what you pay for read more

I had a very bad experience with this funeral director. I was given a quote for direct cremation. When I asked for itemization, the price immediately went up 20% and then lied about so called conditions of the discounted price. Absolutely zero integrity. I found another place and saved 35% off the 'discounted' price. Shop around BEFORE you are under the gun to arrange services. He thought he had me since he had already taken possession of the deceased. read more

Cemetery property is not being maintained There are high weeds and the grass is not mowed. Many gravesites are inaccessible due to the conditions and this prohibits families from visiting their relatives graves. The owner is perfectly capable of keeping the property which can be seen from the street in acceptable condition. This is a 25 acre cemetery and most of it is neglected. This is a disgrace to the community and disrespectful to those interred there. Please do not patronize this business. read more

Awful, tried to give us the wrong remains. Told us a date and time I showed up at that time, he wasnt here so I called I had to wait an hour for him to show up to his own business in swim trunks with beer logos on his outfit. He proceeded to try to give us the remains of the wrong person. Told us we were to much for calling him to see what was actually happening though out the week since there was no communication on his end. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Awful, and disgusting read more

Boyko was extremely supportive during the process of preparing my mother Carmen Andujar for viewing and burial services. David and Roberto were patient with the ongoing interruptions. From the time that mother was picked up at home until she was buried, David provided the professionalism needed for the family to get through this process. Thank you to Boyko Funeral Services! read more

Just took a look at the paperwork he submitted to the state...on this one my mothers race is White. He's completely clueless and lacking in the basic ability to grasp details. Save you and your family from more heartache and go somewhere else. read more

So far, I have called 3 times and gotten an answering service, NOT a person that works at the funeral home. I called on Thursday, August 8, again on Friday, August 8, and AGAIN today, August 12, left my telephone name & telephone number, AND hours that are best to reach me. To date, I have not received a return phone call! If this place can't EVEN take the time to return a phone call, what does that say for their abilities to perform a reasonably good service?! If the can't EVEN return a phone call, within 5 days... what happens if and when I call one my loved one passes away?! Do I sit and wait for DAYS until THEY get around to retrieving the body and performing the service?! So far....l I AM NOT IMPRESSED! i wouldn't even GIVE 1 star currently, but you can' give it any MINUS stars!!! I guess they have all the money they need that they can take their time and pass up a customer!!!! read more
