Lena informed us that is in the works. Had three very good meals at the lodge. Friday night it took a little longer to get but worth it. I would recommend coming to Lena's Northern Pines resort for a great fishing week for the guys or family.

Walked around a bit, they have a blocked off safe swim area for the tots. Nicely appointed fish cleaning house on the shore. Decent docking along the lodge with a newer, bumpered pier. If you haven't yet experienced a memorable stay at this tranquil resort, a fun-loving treat awaits you! The owners, Chris and Tammy (and their two children) are such wonderful individuals! They go above and beyond to ensure the cabins are exceptionally clean and nicely maintained. Their "behind the scene" efforts are very noticeable and greatly appreciated, and always make for a most enjoyable visit. We've already reserved four cabins for next June and are counting down the days to our return. Chris and Tammy's Virgin Timber Resort has our 5-star recommendation for a most enjoyable and relaxing vacation destination!

The bartender was friendly, who my cousin later told me bartender Brad was the owner as was his wife Becky who was also behind the bar. Friendly Marti wasn't working but was seated near the taps & was a delight. As people would come & go they'd stop to chat up or just say hi to our family that's been coming up here for decades, very nice. As a craft beer lover I appreciated that they had a couple of taps, nothing overwhelming, just enough to keep you satisfied, besides Busch Light and Michelob Golden Draft Light. Upon arrival the deck was full, as was the inside. I felt silly when on my way to the restroom there were several boys huddled and I thought maybe counting money to play a game as I said "boys" pointing behind one at the $1 I assumed they dropped. They turned, saw me pointing and replied "that's fake". It's a $1 lacquered in to the floor....silly. Ha. This was a great stop and I hope she brings us up for one last stop before we leave town. I would recommend this lodge to anyone looking for the up north experience in a large space with all the comforts of home.

The implication is that the democrats have trashed America and trampled on our Flag. It's sad that this business owner, and the patrons that like this sign are out of touch with reality. It wasn't the democratic president that encouraged people to storm the capitol. It was Trump supporters that used the American Flag to beat cops while trying to overthrow democracy; this is fact and available to anyone to verify. The bar is a little dark but nicely laid out. The beer was cold and the price was reasonable. The lady behind the bar was pleasant and helpful. The man behind the bar when we walked in said "Are you lost?" in a unfriendly tone. Not the kind of welcome that would be conducive to encouraging people to spend money in the establishment. The Trump 2024 hats and other political paraphernalia supporting Trump is a big turnoff. Again, I don't care who you support, but it will alienate half the population- not a good business model. We stayed for one beer and left. The place had awesome potential, however it was not a welcoming experience so the four of us bounced. I would not recommend this place. However if you are devoid of reality and love to trash democracy, this is your place.
