I've only ever driven a motorcycle so after the injury I was forced to purchase a shitty car because obviously my knee wouldn't allow me to ride my motorcycle anymore. It's been about 370 days and I was paid, they still took the standard 33% fee which left me with potato. And I was referred to this firm. Be advised the female medical practitioner they use to determine permanent partial disability is a selfie taking woman whom loves social media. I was given a 4% disabled rating and I told her multiple times I have to stretch every day before I can walk down the stairs at my house. I'll likely never be able to run 100 miles again but that's okay since the firm got a third.

I had a serious work accident at 22 years old & knew nothing about the the next steps to take or what help could be offered. Adam made sure after I was discharged from the hospital to set a consultation & lay out a clear, helpful plan to ensure I get the great & fast medical treatment I needed. He helped with a settlement afterwards that was more than fair for my injuries. I want to thank him & his team. & let anyone who is looking for professional & great help that Adam is your guy!

I don't hand out praise to law firms lightly, especially after going through a Workers'…read moreCompensation battle that had more moving parts than it should have. But Carter Cullen (Bertoldo Carter Smith & Cullen) in Las Vegas earned it. My case involved complex medical and causation issues tied to occupational injury, and like most Workers' Comp cases, it wasn't just about facts, it was about whether anyone was willing to actually connect the dots and fight for them. That's where Javier stood out. From the beginning, he approached the case with a level of strategic thinking that went beyond the usual checkbox lawyering. He understood that this wasn't a simple claim and treated it that way. He took the time to see the full picture, not just the convenient parts, and built the case accordingly. What impressed me most was his persistence. Workers' Compensation systems are built to slow things down, minimize claims, and push people to give up. Javier didn't play along with that. He pushed back, methodically and effectively, and ultimately secured a ruling that didn't just resolve my case but set a meaningful precedent in how similar issues can be approached going forward. That kind of outcome doesn't happen by accident. It takes preparation, patience, and a willingness to go further than most attorneys are willing to go. Communication was also solid throughout. I was never left guessing where things stood or what the next move was. And when decisions needed to be made, they were explained in a way that made sense without watering anything down. If you're dealing with a straightforward claim, you probably have options. If you're dealing with something complex, contested, or being minimized by the system, you need someone who actually knows how to navigate that reality. In my experience, Carter Cullen, and specifically Javier, does. They don't just process cases. They advocate.

I FOUND MYSELF RESPONSIBLE FOR MEDICAL BILLS!!!…read more I had a car accident a year and a half ago and hired Bertoldo to represent me. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. * After I signed, I received no updates for five months. * It took four months for him to send me to a pain relief doctor. The first doctor only worked Thursdays before 5 p.m., which didn't fit my schedule. The chiropractor showed me multiple attempts (four from their office and three from me) to contact Bertoldo's office before they finally approved a change. Even the doctor was surprised at the delay, since accident victims are usually seen immediately. * When my doctor recommended an MRI, Bertoldo's office dragged their feet again. I called repeatedly, and he even missed two scheduled phone call appointments with me, which I found extremely disrespectful. * Eventually, Bertoldo emailed me saying the MRI "wouldn't help my case." He insisted I drive to his office for an in-person meeting. Given his repeated failure to honor phone calls, I refused, saying I would only discuss matters by phone. Instead of apologizing or trying to rebuild trust, he became upset and dismissed me as a client. That's when things got worse: * During our initial consultation, he assured me I would never have to pay medical bills out of pocket. But after dismissing me, he told MEDICAL PROVIDERS TO FORWARD THEIRS BILLS DIRECT TO ME, leaving me responsible. * He had also made me believe my case wasn't strong and that I'd be unlikely to get full compensation. He even tried to pressure me into fixing cosmetic damage to my car, saying I'd otherwise receive very little. Thankfully, I found a new lawyer. With them, I received the maximum possible compensation without repairing my car. This proved everything Bertoldo told me was wrong. To make matters worse, he later attempted to take part of my settlement, even though I had kept the email he personally sent releasing me and any future lawyer from his fee. In summary, this firm showed a lack of communication, professionalism, and honesty throughout my case. They caused unnecessary stress, delayed my treatment, left me with medical bills, and misled me about my chances. I would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere for representation

SOOO..... When…read morepeople get lawyers or attorneys, it's usually because of your usual bumper or parking lot doozies. Quite Frankly, I'd take that over workers comp claims. You don't expect to get hurt at work, but when it happens, you want to be heard and being my first time in 30 years or so since my first job, I did not know what to expect. Definitely did not expect to be shuffled around like a deck of black jack cards, still loss and confused as to who I can see, when, and specifically, who is listening to my and my concerns? For my fellow YELPERS, if you were wondering why I have not post so much in the past year or so, this was it. I'm better and ready to ROCK. ANYWAYS! Fast forward a year and many research hours later I came across Behzadi Law Offices. Located in a nice plaza off of Sahara at Buffalo, a great location for me because just down the street was my WC MD. So +1 for convenience. My attorney Q has a very nice and comfortable office. Staff is A-mazing, warm and very welcome. What took me was how personable Q and the staff are. I came in with an appointment already in place. Greeted as I walked in and seen within minutes of arriving. Q sat me down in his conference room, and at that point I knew I made the right choice. He sat with me and listened to my concerns as to how my case was going, and before I knew it he had a game plan configured to myself and the next step in the process that needed to be addressed. Mind you, I am already 1 year in, with my case, so he had his work cut out for him in catching up, analyzing and executing his plan. It was not until the end of our meeting that he brought up $. In this case, a settlement for me. 1- I was not there for a settlement. I love work and for the past year up to before I hired Q, I was on a crazy restriction regiment and teetering of loosing my job due to those restrictions. Q was my insurance to assure job security while I recover correctly by seeing and understanding a lot of how the process works so I can retain my job. 2- Him mentioning the $ at the end of the meeting showed me that my concerns came first. More than what I was getting from WC insurance. Respectfully we know insurance do their best to help at a minimum, then when attorneys get involved, you can see a change in speed and direction. That was what Q was for me, structured recovery. Fast forward to today and at the end of the journey with the WC claim, I am better. Pain is not gone, but because of Q I was heard at work and I was able to keep my position at a different assignment. With this move I endure less pain and am able to recover naturally. Unfortunately this will stay with me forever, but knowing I can reopen when needed as explained by Q, and he will be there for me, relieved some of those worries that I carried with me for the first year. I can not thank Q and his Family of workers at Behzadi Law Offices enough. Feeling lost, confused, hit around like a ping pong ball, or passed around like hot a potato? Have a sit down with Q and let him hear you. He heard me. Sometime the best thing someone can do is just that, listen. Mahalo Q and Family
