My 4-year old son has been attending classes at Planet Gymnastics for almost a year now and he…read moreloves it! It never ceases to amaze me how different and creative every class is. There are courses built out all over the gym for the kids and they're different every week. They get especially creative around the holidays. They move around the gym to different stations with creative obstacle courses, like climbing along the rungs of a ladder and trying not to fall through the cracks into the swamp with the alligators or hopping over the witches hats on the balance beam! All this really keeps the kids engaged. The teachers are very patient as the little kids aren't usually following all of the directions and they keep the environment fun. Even when my son gets scared of new things, the instructors give the kids the space and support they need to get them motivated to participate. On top of making the classes super fun for the kids, Planet Gymnastics goes above and beyond and recognizes each kid periodically throughout the year with medals, giving them a sense of accomplishment and something to physically bring home for all of their hard work.

She hadn't had this reaction with soccer, lacrosse or swimming so we're happy she's found a sport to love. The coaches couldn't be any nicer and Gary is priceless! He obviously cares about the families being happy and connected to what their kids are learning. All of the staff are so kind and if they don't know who our kids are (our boys love to come for vacation days!) they do a very professional job of faking it. (And I mean that in a good way.) On vacation days when all three of our kids attend it's like walking into Cheers. And then there are the parents. Such a nice group! Everyone is friendly, no one is stuck up and it's obvious that everyone just wants their kid to have fun. Last year there was a group of children with special needs and Gary and the team took such great care of them. Everyone left smiling and it was lovely to see that every child in the gym is treated with the same care and respect. We look forward to many more years with PG and are so thankful for their dedication to our daughter's growing love of the sport and our feeling part of a community that really cares about kids.

The owner, Zsolt, sets a kind, compassionate, professional environment that transfers to the coaches and participants. It is a very supportive community between the girls, which I am touched by. My daughter is happier and healthier because of attending Elite Gymnastics Academy!

Her training was safe, positive, and fun. She learned so much, and the conditioning was fantastic. Someone was available to communicate about events, problems, and costs. There were no surprises. It is a positive learning environment, and drama is kept to a minimum. Five years ago, we moved to Houston, TX. My daughter tried out at many of the top gyms in the country. We found a gym she enjoyed and where she trained for a few years. After a horrible injury, my daughter is returning to gymnastics. Her former gym closed its women's program. I asked her where she would like to try. She stated she received the best training at Elite Gymnastics in Ashland. It's where she felt the safest and most comfortable and got the best training. She has always spoken positively of her time here.

All of the parents complained about the same thing before bothering to sign her up (I figured there were other rooms or something she'd go to). Staff are all very kind, awesome and engaged. Unfortunately, will not return my child to this gymnastics establishment. It is not very clean and…read morequite frankly smells as you go in and sit waiting for your child. One restroom for the girls and it is not kept up. The space is uncomfortable and very crowded when you wait for your child's class. I will not get into specifics on all the reasons I pulled my child out of the class, but I will say cleanliness was the main reason. I asked for a partial refund and clearly didn't want a full refund as my child did attend some of the classes. I was met with emails from the owner on how following policy I should not get a refund. She emailed way too personally on how I should not give a negative review and how it would hurt her business. Again, I will not go into details, but feel that she should have given me a "partial" refund on the classes now missed and under the circumstances, not follow her policy. She sent me a $30 sign up fee and returned it to me only. No partial refund and I tore up her check as I feel on principal as I should have received what I asked for which was not a lot of money at all. I was given feedback from Tumble Kids on how cleanliness is a priority for them and how many times they clean etc. If they indeed do that, how come the lobby stinks? Come on! I was told it's because it is a gym and gyms smell. Seriously? I have been to many gyms with sweaty adults and the gym does not smell! Even the doors coming in are full of grimy hand prints. Windex them! Deodorize the lobby. The play area for little kids looks like you will catch something. Like a grimy daycare. I will never be back, will never recommend and shame on Tumble kids for not giving a partial refund under the circumstances. I am being very kind in my review for not mentioning more as my intention is not to hurt any business but bring awareness of any customer paying for services and not getting a clean environment. I will add that the teachers are nice and the kids do enjoy the gymnastic part of it. But in all reality, the gym is way too small to accommodate the amount of kids they have in the gym at one time. Each teacher tries to organize her group and teach among other kids jumping around them in other classes. The space is not big enough and Tumble kids ought to look for a space that is and clean it like they should. Even though they CLAIM they do!! : / Sure!

Honestly, their training works and I hope to learn more before my next race in August. Even though it doesn't look like much when you go inside, it's more than enough to get you by in the races.
