High praise for this business! We live in a historic home that we purchased from a flipper. We've…read morelived in the home for 5 years and we're constantly finding things that need fixed because the work performed originally was all wrong. The front door has been on our list for a long time. I went to 4 different companies to quote the project. One company said they wouldn't do it because of the complexity. One said it would take 6 months to get a specialty door ordered and they wanted half the money up front. So basically paying thousands of dollars for a door I won't see for the better part of a year. Pass. The other company said they would need to rip the door off before they could give me a quote. Nightmare all around. Broadview was able to provide a reasonably priced quote and a 3 month lead time that ended up collapsing down to 2 months! I communicated with Ed for the sale and contract. My installation team was Randy, Bart, and Jamie. Absolutely stellar crew. Outstanding craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations. I did not think we'd get that door centered on the opening due to complexities of the HVAC and structure of the original door vs the new door. It looks marvelous like it was meant to be there, centered, correct size and color. One of the guys said they've been doing this for 42 years and this was the second hardest door he's done. And the only reason he could do it is because he worked in New England where all the homes were old. They also installed 3 layers of insulation because our door had none. Like I said, the list for this home never ends. Grateful for the team, their pristine attention to detail and their commitment to craftsmanship. We are thrilled with our new door!

I am also attaching pictures of the caulk job and the damage that was done below the window. Overall with this experience I would not recommend this company. I had ordered windows in September of 2021 and still have not had them installed as of 1/29/2022. The second week of December 2021, I had called to see where the windows were and how much longer it would be until install. It took 3-4 days in order to get an answer. The receptionist would constantly put me over to people who had no idea what was going on and would promise to give me a call back, which would never happen. The Week before Martin Luther King Dr. Day, I finally get a call from who I think is the owner who said that they have my windows, and they could install next day. Unfortunately I work in health care and it is almost impossible to get off at that short of notice, which is something I feel like this person could not grasp. We settled for Martin Lurther King Jr. Day because I was off work. Unfortunately I was scheduled for install in the morning and we had 4-6 inches of snow and according to the owner they had the truck which was stuck in Delaware. No big deal, these things happen and I would feel awful if someone got into a traffic accident or hurt, and said that he was very sorry and would try to reschedule on a Saturday, which was something they rarely do. He said he would call up a team and would call me back to confirm. Never did call me back pertaining to scheduling on a Saturday. I am now suppose to get them installed the second week of February, we will see if it actually happens this time. Overall I have been very underwhelmed with the communication of this company and at this point the amount of money paid is not worth the service, especially one that I have yet to receive almost half a year later

After seeing the job that looked like it was being done well on Grand Central Ave in Vienna, I…read moredecided to call Pro Co for an estimate. The job was simple, take an 8x16 ft storage building and cut approx. 6 feet off the front and build new barn style doors. Resulting in a 8x10 ft building. Sounds easy right? Well, they came out in July 23 to do the estimate. We got the quote pretty quickly. It was roughly $2800. No problem, let's do it! After not hearing anything till the end of August, we contacted them again. "Oh you haven't paid your deposit yet, that's why you haven't been scheduled". Mind you, they never told us that. So I immediately, same day, went there and paid $1000 cash. This was on August 23rd. So for the next 5 months we called. Never receiving an answer or a return phone call. Normally we are pretty accommodating, but this job had to be done prior to our concrete driveway being replaced. Needless to say, it was not and concrete doesn't happen in 2023. In February 24 I had had enough! We visited the office and talked to the owner. He was super nice and assured us we were next in line. Two days late at 7am my husband receives a call from Pro Co, they can start today. Um, what? My husband is retired and never rises that early. About a week later, they sent a 4 man crew to do the job. Takes about a day and a half to complete. So a 1.5 day job took over 7 months to do?? Like I said, we are accommodating, but come on! So, it rains a few days later. And guess what? This building is leaking around the doors that they built. We call them, guy comes out. He's in a hurry to get to some event. Here's a thought, don't come if you don't have time for your customer. Anyways, we wanted some additional work done. Three window replacements and some casement around 2-4 basement windows. He didn't measure anything and rattled off a price. Sounds Great! Put us on the schedule. Not only did they never come back to fix their leaking barn doors, they never followed up on the windows. To say we were not happy with their customer service and quite frankly, their craftsmanship is an understatement. I never want to give a family owned business a bad review, but it is definitely what they earned. I called Bowser's and they are doing the new windows and casements. We have worked with them before and really just wish we would have used them in the first place.
