When I first moved to Little Rock from Northwest Arkansas I had done a walk-thru of Bowman Pointe Apartments. Unfortunately, they didn't have anymore available apartments when it was time for me to relocate here. After a year of living in Little Rock I was able to apply and move into Bowman Pointe. I remember taking a swim one late summer night and saying I love this place it's almost like we are on vacation. We attended a few events and sometimes when we didn't feel like cooking dinner it was super convenient to have a food truck outside on Tuesday Nights. This was our dream apartment. One thing I don't think people realize is how important bathrooms really are. The amount of space and storage you get with Bowman Pointe bathrooms is beyond your average apartment or in some cases houses. The rainfall shower head and regular shower head creates almost an oasis one could potentially take for granted. We start our mornings getting ready in our bathrooms and we end our nights preparing for bed in our bathrooms. I am putting such an emphasis on this because we unfortunately made a poor decision and left bowman pointe to live in a new construction house. We were excited to get a garage - we were excited to have two stories, and have some more space in some parts of the house. We made sacrifices. The master bathroom was a quarter of the size of Bowman Pointe. Cold showers and cramped spaces are how I start and finish my mornings and nights now. We took for granted an amazing spa shower. We took for granted having maintenance at our finger tips if something were to come up. We took for granted the community and the amenities. After what felt like 100 problems with new construction we were able to terminate our lease and move back to Bowman Pointe. I also would like to say even with Bowman Pointe being new construction- we didn't have ANY problems with our previous apartment Pointe might not be a house with a garage in a subdivision, but it's so much more than just an apartment. When we walked back through the lobby, and walked through the apartment to do a final walk through - IT FELT LIKE HOME. I am beyond grateful and excited to be moving back and having the opportunity to do so. The staff is amazing. The complex is clean and safe. The amenities are better than what most 3-4 star hotels could offer. This is truly luxury living. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you're looking at renewing your lease or if you're thinking about moving here... It is possible to feel happy and feel like you're not in Little Rock at the same time. read more

they are nice, i moved in not even a week ago, it is so many ants. I told them twice about sending pest control (Saturday and Monday) the pest control did not come to my place at all. the ants are crawling on me as I sleep, I found one on side of my head, but being that pest only comes on Tuesday and apparently it's impossible for them to come again I have to have ants crawling and biting me and my daughter and nothing is being done about it. also my over door came off, it's hardl hanging on, I'll see if maintenance will come today or not read more

After a few months since my husband and I moved out of Bowman Pointe Apartments, we expected to receive a refund of at least $300 from our security deposit(s). Instead, we received only $150. In total, my husband and I paid upfront $430, which we thought included two refundable security deposits of $150 each and two nonrefundable application fees of $65. However, when I called for clarification, I learned that only one of the $150 security deposits are refundable, while the other is nonrefundable. As newly graduated college students, we are disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding these charges. If we had been aware of this information beforehand, we would have chosen a different place to live. read more

As a current and good resident, I do not recommend these apartments. I was put in an apartment near a resident who loves to blast music and partying Thursday-Saturday. I can't even sleep in my master bedroom on those days, because the music is so loud. This has been a big issue since I moved in. I have complained numerous times, contacted LRPD, as well as the on-site officer. Nothing has helped, and this neighbor continues to determine whether or not I get a good night's rest in my luxury apartment. I'm listening to the music thump as I type this review. read more

Bowman "Gun" Pointe bc they try to rob you. Make sure you clean every inch of the apartment once you leave bc they will take every Penny they can. Even water spots / streaks on the cleaned Counter top or floors they will charge you. They go out of their way to keep the deposit back and to even charge you extra. You will get weekly memos to informing you of car break ins and theft. We had our Catalytic Converter chopped off our vehicle. Left a few messages for the front office and no one responded or even acknowledge they got the message. Told the the maintenance man driving in the cart and asked if the camera worked that pointed right where my vehicle was parked each night, he told me "that sucks" shrugged his shoulders and drove off. As much as we paid for a gated community complex to have so much crime is a crime in itself. read more

Needed a part time place to stay while we are in town so we went with Bowman Pointe. So with this in mind we are only there 1or 2 weeks per month. We have had the apt since July. There have been 3 incidents where the residents in buildings 11 have had their windows knocked out of their cars and their belongings taken if they had any inside. Of course the police have came and nothing has ever came of it. This is life and I understand that these things can't be helped. What interesting enough was that an apartment property this big did not have overnight security guard. When asked about why they didn't, they stated it wasn't financially feasible to have a security guard. The apartment is ok, however it's very loud inside them. Example... every foot step upstairs, next door neighbors tv, gunshots in the area (not on the property) I don't think, people racing down 430 during the night (if you live in the east facing units). Some of these are uncontrollable by the management and I get that, just explaining our experience at the property. The residents are all very nice and friendly and mostly dissatisfied with the complex as I have been told. read more

Pool real bad in building 14. Dirty and they are very unresponsive. Drug smell is intense and it seems like they support it.

I had a great interaction with Ms. Callie. Her & the other employees were pleasant & made my stay worthwhile.

I was a bit disappointed on arriving to my new apartment and seeing it needed quite a bit done, but when I notified management they were absolutely wonderful in fixing everything in a timely manner. I am extremely happy with management's professionalism and awesome attitude every time I have a question. Maintenance has been on top of their requests and get everything I ask done super quick. DON'T BE FOOLED by the Instagram worthy amenities. This place will do anything and everything they can to get every penny out of you. We inquired about going month to month because we don't know if we would be able to move. Due to misunderstanding and miscommunication by the staff, our apartment was sold and we were forced to move out early....oh and they said we owed them $920 for late 60 day notice. To be clear: They already sold our apartment but still charged us rent...and we couldn't even live there. After many meetings and phone calls to resolve this we were met only by the yelling and raised voices of the staff. Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. The staff (specifically Lora Bueker) has a 'better than you' attitude. There are plenty of nice apartments in the area. AVOID THIS ONE!! read more

I went in to the office to talk about having my rent switched to month to month and other options before the end of my lease date because I'm a college grad and didn't know when exactly I would be moving. I went in for help but I felt like I was being rushed out and not listened to. I left more confused than when I came in. I called a few days later to check on the month to month rent and was told our apartment had been sold and that we were being charged 'rent' for not giving a proper 60 day notice. (they call it something else besides rent because It's illegal to collect rent for a resident after the apartment was sold) (Also I feel like it is odd to expect residents to know their plans 60 days out... as a graduating student I definitely did not. 30 days would be more reasonable) We had meetings and phone calls to try to sort it out but the staff was rude and didn't listen, giving us the impression that they just wanted our money and wanted us to leave. I don't understand how they can sell our apartment and still collect a rents worth of money from us for 'late 60 days notice'. I would even understand a small fee but almost $1000?! Come on! It's a nice complex but it felt like I was being scammed. Save yourself some money and stress and find a different apartment. read more

I am currently stuck in a nightmare scenario at Bowman Pointe. They continue to advertise themselves as luxury apartments, but that really only applies to the common areas and maybe the amenities. My best advice is to make sure that you see the actual unit you will be renting, because I was completely scammed into a unit that has no windows. Read that again, no windows. There is no natural light or natural ventilation, most units have a balcony, mine does not. This is not in some highly coveted, space-limited area of Manhattan, this is Little Rock, Arkansas, and we have apartments without windows. This isn't a studio apartment either, this is a 1-bedroom unit that costs over $1,200 a month to rent, but it feels like living in someone's basement to me. This is actually a violation of Little Rock Building Code, but neither the apartment nor the city cares enough about the issue, and only gave me expensive options to move units or break lease. I hope you enjoy not knowing what time of day it is or what the weather is like without climbing three flights of stairs to go outside. I cannot have plants; my dogs do not have a window to look out of. If I cook, good luck getting rid of the smell, because there's no way to open a window, and the ventilation is poor besides. Other issues I have had with the apartment: 1. Went a month without a working refrigerator because their warranty service wouldn't come out, and they couldn't be bothered to replace it. 2. I still have holes in the drywall in my living room where maintenance attempted repairs, never fixed the original issue and won't come back to fix holes or paint. 3. Went weeks without a working key fob to get into the gated community because office workers didn't know how to replace it. 4. Unhelpful office workers. I have figured out their real jobs are making TikToks and planning pool parties, not actually helping solve any resident issues. I will give them credit that the pool is amazing, and the dog park is a very nice amenity. But I have to live here, I am not visiting, and I am not happy. I work at UAMS, and I will make sure to tell every single travel nurse, medical student and resident looking for a place to rent to look elsewhere. The lack of windows to me is unacceptable, and even if they were transparent about this fact when I signed my lease, this unit should be unrentable. read more

Counting down the days until my lease is up. This place used to be nice and be known for being nice. Calling itself a "luxury apartment" is a joke as it's the furthest thing from that now. The rent is luxury price, but the complex itself is not. The office doesn't respond to emails when there is an issue. The regional director doesn't help either like she tries to make it seem in her responses to reviews. I've sent documentation of excessive noise during "quiet hours" for about three weeks now from being woken up during the middle of the night and having that happen all through out the night. Residents have no respect for other residents. Dog feces is left on the inside of the apartment common areas, like the stairs and hallways, amongst food and trash. There's no need for the gates since people will wait until someone opens it and follow in behind them. It's truly disgusting all the way around living here. There are much better places as this place has seriously gone downhill and is only going to get worse each day it seems. read more

I have lived here for a little over a year and loved every minute! The apartments are very nice, and the amenities are superb. The staff are very quick to respond to maintenance requests (usually fixed within 24-48 hrs for non-urgent requests). I love the activities they put on for residents, and of course.. I was so excited to move to this apartment but my move-in experience was not very pleasant. The apartment was not clean, there was a strange smell and there was a lot of damages done to the apartment. It wasn't until I spoke to Meaghan, the director, who sent maintenance and housekeeping to take care of the issues. She also made sure to notify corporate office of the issues so that my requests did not fall on deaf ears and that I was satisfied with the solutions. I also want to add that maintenance (in particular, Jessie) and housekeeping (Callie) are just some of the nicest and most helpful people I've met here. I really appreciate their thoroughness and hard work! I would have given 5 stars had my move-in day went more smoothly but I am very happy with the way management has handled the issues. Also, the amenities here are amazing! Lots of fun things to do here and they always have some fun event going on. Definitely, a place to consider if you're new to the area. read more
