Stayed here 3 days for a stop at the Corvette Museum which is very close to this KOA. Grounds were well taken care of. Staff were friendly. The only knock is the highway noise. Would stay here again. read more

I see most of the reviews are a year or older. They must have done a lot to fix and clean up. Park is very clean , plenty of space between sites with plenty of shade trees. Bathrooms are clean. There's a nice fishing pond, a neat putt putt and plenty of local activities in and out of campground. Staff is friendly, neat cabins and cabin wagons. Only thing I can see that people will complain about is the pool is being worked on. Looks like they're redoing the surround enclosure. We wish we booked for a longer stay. read more

TERRIBLE CMAPSITE!!! Poo stains all over sheets in cabin, and pee stains too. the cabins are nasty, outside part isn't great, bathrooms are the worst I have ever seen. The only good thing was the human-sized chess set. don't ever want to come back. read more

This is our second time staying here. Easy on and off the Highway for us road warriors as we travel between our Summer and Winter Homes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Bathhouse's are clean and it has a nice dog park. The sites are gravel but fairly level. We rolled in late and left before sunrise and it was nice that the campsite had a patio table and chairs rather than the standard picnic table. Saved us from having to get our chairs out. The downside is the Interstate Noise, but that is the price you pay when long-hauling; just the right place to stay when passing through. We will be back in the fall! read more

The campground has plenty for pets but is getting tired and worn out. The air signals are good so they don't have cable. Out water outlet leaked while not my problem made for soggy ground to work around the electrical. Lots of road noise and trash burn piles complete with tress limbs and old sofas. Sites are ok but long term campers have high weeds and unsightly. Cabins are cute but have no idea on condition. Ok for an overnight but nothing exciting read more

Pros: Overall nice campground, two fishing lakes, a swimming pool, kids playground, dog park, miniature golf and paddle boats. Also, very friendly staff. Cons: I guess it depends on the site but we were somewhat disappointed with ours. The one fire pit on our site was broken and totally dysfunctional. The other fire pit had a dented/broken top on it. Also, the sewer drain for our site was very high for some reason making it difficult to dump our tanks. Lastly, it was Memorial Day weekend with a full park and the store closed at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening. That just really surprised us I guess so we were not able to get any more wood for the evening. read more

We have been camping for twenty plus years and have never experienced such a poorly ran facility. My wife is wheelchair bound and we were given a site that was full of mud, no internet, poor to no tv signal and a broken dump pipe. We went to the office to complain and they had closed early because of slow business. The next morning we complained and a maintenance man was sent to assess the site. He said a tree fell and the it rained, so that why there was so much mud. I told him we had a hard time getting my wife's wheelchair out and he laughed! I was told that we would get a partial refund and after calling them for three weeks, they said we would get a check for $6.00 back. Our site was $59.00 a night! We were laughed at, put off, and lied to by staff and the owner! We will never visit a KOA AGAIN. read more

The review were not a good as we would like but we loved the place. Our site had a great pad . We could tie our dog out and he loved just laying there and enjoying the sites. Everything worked well. I would definitely visit again. The only negative was the person that took the reservation over the phone. She had a hard time communicating with us. We had to double spell everything for her to record our details. read more

So disappointed. This was the most expensive stay we had on our 3 week vacation. And I have written to KOA and this campground and gotten no response. They had a broken water line and no water in the whole campground and they refused to credit back any of the $70+ a night fees. The campground is basically a parking lot in the trees. The bath house is very 1950's and never been updated. I would not recommend nor would I ever stay her again. OH yeah, and lots of dog droppings not picked up read more

Dump. Its a dump. If you care about your rv then you won't stay here. They are so bad about trimming trees that my coach has scratches down the side of it now. Fire pit had grass growing out of it. BBQ still full of charcoal and ashes. WiFi was terrible so don't plan on doing any business while you are there. Sewer connection was broken and required a brick to hold it in place. Laziness or cheapness about trimming trees and cleaning. Was told by one worker that the maintenance/tree trimmer quit. Clearly obvious. Location wasn't bad. Wasn't loud. If you don't like dogs then I wouldn't walk into the office where some obnoxious white dog ran around barking. read more

The 2 stars are because my kids liked fishing in their ponds and actually caught fish. Other wise this would be a 1 Star review. The staff in the front office is less than friendly. We got the deluxe cabin with bathroom no kitchen. We specifically wanted it because it was 2 rooms and we needed to keep our dog/cat separated. Well, when we entered we found out shortly after, that wasn't going to be an option because the ONLY a/c in that cabin was in the "master" bedroom and the front room gets NO air if you close the bedroom door. Even with the door open our kids would wake up sweaty. There was some sort of feces all over the front porch of the cabin, which we learned were from the abundance of geese they had on the property, their poop was EVERYWHERE!! All over the putting greens for the mini-golf, the side walls, porches...etc. the smoke detectors in the cabin were disabled. We won't be staying there again nor will we recommend it to our friends. Pros: the ponds do have fish. Neat playground for the kids. And the dog park is neat. read more

We checked into this campground September 11th for one night. We were in site T503 with a vary nice patio and fire pit with a fairly level gravel site. All was good until about 9PM when the person in site T502 next to us started his full size Semi Truck up and ran it all night until 8AM the next day. Needless to say we did not get a good night sleep. At about 10PM I took out 2 dogs out for their nightly walk before bed, all of a sudden this large black dog was at our dogs as I was yelling at it to get way the person in the 5th wheel next to us with the running Semi called his dog back into the 5th wheel. I guess they have 2 sets of rules in the park, one for the permanent people and one for the weekend campers. As the rules on their map states dogs must be on a leash and pick up after your dog. ( I saw more dog pop in the KOA than any other park we have stayed at) and this is off of their internet site: Quiet Hours Monday - Thursday 9 pm to 9 am, Fridays - Sundays 10 pm to 8 am. No generators. No loud music or noises at any time. I guess quiet hours does not mean Diesel Running Semi Trucks. As we left the camp I stop at the office to tell them about our experience and they acked like they could care less. I had a reservation for this KOA in June of 2022 and canceled it that morning and again they could care less. Something like we are sorry about your experience and will talk to the person with the truck. But no not one word. I will boondock on the side of the interstate before I say at the KOA. Call hours in advance told them we needed a handicapped spot. What they gave us for a spot was about 1000 feet from the bath. Old grave spot that was not cleaned from pzast people. Horrible place! They were resurfacing the main entrance and around the office and didn't bother to tell us that when we booked, the same day as our arrival. Half the driveway into the CG was blocked off, along with the entire area around the office. The asphalt truck was blocking the only road into the park and a mail truck was trying to get out while we were stuck with our 41-ft. rig, with car in tow as well, behind the asphalt truck. Nobody came out to give us directions as to where to go or how to get into the office, so when the traffic jam eased up, we went up the only possible road (one way, the other direction) and drove around trying to get back to the office area with no success because the back area of the office was also blocked off. We unhooked the car and got turned around and hubby walked over to the office to get us registered. The manager screamed at him because he had to walk on the new asphalt. In the meantime, another employee came over and screamed at me that I had to move because he had to get another camper out of the park. Sheer greed is the only reason I can think of as to why they didn't just close the park for one day while the work was being done. Several other campers I spoke to had experienced similar problems and were not given decent directions as to how to get around all the new paving and into their camp site. I guarantee they have lost more than one camper from ever coming back to this horribly managed place! read more

What can I say? Do not store your camper there or wouldn't even stay there if they are cutting grass!!! I wouldn't even give them a star but I have to to write this post. Story goes, I stored my camper there $75/month. One week in they broke my window with a rock from a mower. The owner called me and told me just that. So when I asked about getting it fixed she said they didn't break it. I pulled the camper put it in the shop and she said to have them call her. That was September and it's now end of December!!! They have been dodging their calls and mine! Now it's off season they are only open from 8am-10am!!! Good luck if anything of yours gets damaged there. And no corporate won't help because this koa is independent owned!!!! read more

Our first stay at a KOA. It was a good experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a good site without too many people around. All the facilities worked well. Bathrooms and showers were relatively clean. Nice pond to walk around and plenty of space for kids to run around (including a fun pirate ship). Minus a star since it was a little difficult to locate (down some small roads off the highway) and close to the highway and an intersection so some road noise during the night. read more

We have stayed at this KOA several times when visiting family in the area. We always find the staff to be friendly and helpful. The sites we have stayed in have a concrete patio and a picnic table or patio table and chairs. The sites are gravel but solid. The campground is very well maintained. They offer a nice play area for the kids, putt putt golf, fishing and a large dog park. We love the location. Easy access to the interstate. There are several grocery stores nearby and shopping galore. We are full time RVing and find that this KOA is one of our favorite spots. read more

Don't be deceived by the nice entry area at the front of the campground. As soon as you leave the front and head toward the sites it gets 'real'. Potholes, mud, and little huts that are in dire need of maintenance. I spent months there (due to travel work assignment) in my RV. Among the worst campgrounds I have ever stayed in. Staff is rude, inattentive, unorganized and unprofessional. No facility standards are maintained. Sites are muddy and lots of potholes--gravel is much needed everywhere. People junk their sites, play loud music and fly through the campground (trucks, motorcycles) late at night. The sad highlight of my stay was being verbally accosted by two staff members who never identified themselves as such as I was screamed at and accused of driving too fast. I found out they were employees when two other campers spoke to me in support, both witnessing event and concerned for how I was unfairly treated as they could see I was trying to avoid an accident not create one. I never visited bath facilities but was told bathrooms were dirty--although to be fair I didn't personally see them. There was enough of an issue that portapotties were added at the corner of the park. So, if you like mud, poor upkeep, and sketchy employees this is the place for you! Otherwise, save your money, because it is way overpriced, and stay somewhere better! read more

Stayed at the Bowling Green KOA on 6/10/18. Due to major issues with our stay, we were told we would receive a refund for the evening we stayed, but have not received our refund. A few min. after we went into our cabin, I noticed that my dog had a grape in her mouth. That concerned me. 1. Grapes can be deadly for dogs to consume. 2. It made me wonder if the cabin had been cleaned. After looking around, I saw that the cabin did need cleaning. I cleaned it. When I used the hot water, it looked like boiling water was coming out of the faucet, it burnt my hand. My son happened to be getting a shower & his skin was burnt as well. My husband noticed that the cold water wasn't even connected. Eventually, the hot water stopped working as well. Contacted the after hours number. At 11pm, we were moved to another cabin, in the rain, but the elec. key didn't work, so we were moved to another cabin. That cabin was dirty. It still even had garbage in the can from the previous renters. I saw toothpaste and hair in the bathroom sink, soap and hair in the shower, a baby bottle on the floor in the loft, & kitchen table dirty. I cleaned the cabin. It was 1:00 am before we went to sleep. By then, I had chest pains from exhaustion and aggravation. Also woke up with chest pains the next morning. Upon check out, we spoke with the cashier about our experience, who in turn, went to speak with the owner in the backroom. Of course, the owner never came out to speak with us. The only thing that she did was hand the cashier a free night stay card to give us. We were supposed to check back into a cabin the following Friday (6/15) for 1 night. The manager said she would refund us for that night & give us a free night. We asked if we had time to decide, she said yes. Don't want to go back. Called back that day to ask for a refund for 6/10 & 6/15. Manager said yes. Was refunded for 6/15, but not 6/10. They are ignoring our calls & owner hasn't responded to a message that the manager left for her to call us. Will contact my aunt (lawyer) for legal advice. read more

I've camped in a lot of KOAs over the years and this one does not measure up. First, we stopped for the night in this nearly empty park, but received the "off-season" rate of $45 per night! Extremely high for a KOA, especially during the winter. My biggest surprise happened the next morning when I attempted to dump my black tank into the sewer attachment at my site. Sure glad I didn't just open the valve and walk away. Their sewer was plugged. I managed to close my dump valve, but not until about a gallon or so of nasty overspill surged from the sewer connection. Yuck! I unhooked my sewer and freshwater hoses and moved my trailer to one of the many vacant spots in the park and managed to complete that job. In addition, the restrooms at my end of the campground were "closed for the season." The nearest restroom or shower was about a 125 yard hike from our campsite. The only trashcan near our site was full and spilling out the top. Our only choice was either to dump our trash on the ground next to the can or carry it out. We chose to carry it out. Botton line: there are a number of RV parks in this area, I would suggest you stay at one of them, if they check out. I wouldn't stay here again. BTW, I stopped on my way to complain about my stay. The attendant said she would pass it on. I'm sure she did. read more

Run down and dirty! Stood face to face 20 minutes with a worker before she asked me if she could help me.(No Lie!) Then she still answered the phone several more times before checking me in. ( I had pre-paid. Should only have taken 2 minutes to check me in) Had to knock cobwebs off doorway of cabin before we could get in. When we walked in I would have bet 100.00 that we was going to find a pile of crap in the toilet because it smelled so fresh!!! Never found the smell!! Had to sleep with blanket over face. The bed covering was so gross I was afraid to even think of what could be on it. There was food left in the fridge. Goose poop all over everything outside........I have never stayed at a nastier place!! I had traveled a long way and had no extra money for another place and these people where NO help. They are nasty!! 100.00 for cabin and I could have had cleaner place at the rest areas I been to! read more

Not happy. I asked and paid for a deluxe patio site via the KOA internet site. Pulled in early after calling to verify we could drop off the 5th wheel before siteseeing. My spot was empty, but we found the neighbors car parked in our site. Had to get management to come and have the owner remove the car. Meanwhile, I noticed that I didn't have a deluxe patio as I paid for and was told I shouldn't have booked it through the internet as the Internet doesn't know what's going on. Campsite next to us obviously had been there many months with all the garbage on his patio site and strewn around the camper. I asked if I could go on the other side of the camper where there was a deluxe patio and told no it was reserved. Well, supposedly my site was reserved, too. Stayed overnight, didn't try any of the facilities, just glad to get out. Site was muddy, had water standing, sits right on I-65 for traffic noise. Kids galore everywhere for the Memorial Day weekend. read more
