Very friendly receptionist. Responded quickly to problems with our old tired heater A/C. The technician called before arriving to confirm we were home, and when he arrived he was very clean, neat, and polite. The tech quickly narrowed the problem to two things, but unable to fully diagnose because I had cycled power a bunch of times to see if I could start it. Didn't charge because we had just had a seasonal service. I asked the tech to just replace it all, and they said, they'd rather wait for a true diagnosis with the problem occurring. That's right, they turned don't the chance to install parts beyond what might have been necessary. The problem occurred again about three weeks later, and they again responded promptly and this time were able to diagnose and repair very inexpensively. Fast forward 8 months. We decided that the old unit was likely on its last legs, and were looking to replace it with something more efficient. Guy gave us an estimate with several levels of convenience, efficiency, and maybe even opulence (they have some nice stuff). We decided on a middle end unit, and we received no pressure at all or any attempts at an up-sell. The crew who did the install was clean, friendly, polite, and even had a great sense of humor on the 30 degree day they installed out new heater-A/C. They were in and out in about 6 hours, and we're very happy with the quality of the install. A month later, Nathan, came by to inspect the install, get our feedback, tweak the system, and collect the invoice. This also went well. Completely satisfied. You will likely find a cheaper install, but I don't know that you will find the same combination of quality and affordability. What's more, EVERY person who came to our house was someone we were very happy to let in our home and acted as respectful guest. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Bowles. The day I called to get some help with my broken air conditioner, I actually talked with a real live person on the phone. She took down my information and I did tell her I lived in a double wide mobile home, knowing most heating and cooling companies will not take on the job. A short time later that day I got a call back from Bowles Heating and Cooling and an appointment was set up to access what work would need to be done. I was very impressed with the knowledge and how everything was explained on what needed to be done and why. The installation technicians arrived on time and did they ever get to work!! System was installed in one day and the technician explained operation of the system. I was given a week to check the system out and was told if it was not what I expected that it would be corrected. HOW MANY COMPANIES DO THAT!!! I was then visited by Bowles the system was rechecked for proper installation and went over any questions I had. Guy Bowles is as professional as they come. His team of installers where kind and courteous. Guy came out to our house last year to give us an assessment and an estimate. When we decided that we needed to wait due to other financial restraints, he did not hesitate to fix our existing system free of charge and keep it running for a whole year. I had three other AC technicians come out last year and Guy Bowles did more for my old system than the other three techs combined. I have no doubt that he alone kept that old machine running until we could afford to replace it. When we did get out financials in order, we called Guy back out and he was genuinely happy to hear from us. He came right out the next day and walked us through the process. He still had our old plan from the year before with him and he was ready to start work. His crew was quick to get to work and had our old system out and the new one installed in one day. Nathan Bowles came out a week later to have us sign warranty information and to check on the system. He also was very professional and kind. The Bowles are just good people. I called Bowles Heating and Cooling on a Monday afternoon to request a technician come diagnose an unresponsive Central Air system. A polite woman with a friendly Texas accent informed me that an appt. was available for the next day at 1115, which I gladly accepted. I made sure to be home early to meet the technician who arrived at about 1105. He was cleanly attired and while a little quiet, well spoken and clear. I led him to the troublesome A/C unit and it took him less than 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. He then ran the serial number of the unit and found it was still under warranty and then spent the next hour on the phone with warehouse tracking down a new blower motor. He then maintained remarkable composure while fighting the old drive shaft apart from the fan and then carefully installed and aligned the new motor, reassembled the air handler and flipped the breakers. My A/C which had given me nothing but trouble for months was suddenly fully operational. He completed the final diagnostics and inspection and wrapped up the work-order. All of this completed for just the initial diagnostic fee. If I ever need anything else taken care of with this system I'm calling them. read more

When my Air Conditioning unit went out, I did my research and then called 10 heating and cooling companies for bids. Guy Bowles was one of the bidders. His knowledge of the systems and the currently available technology was very impressive. I chose him as the company to do the work. Every person that worked installing the new equipment was knowledgeable and polite. We had a slight problem with the thermostat and they immediately came out and checked the problem and replaced the unit. No complaining, just polite and professional work. After it had been working for a week they came back and checked all systems, did some minor adjustments and made sure I was happy with the equipment and the job they had done. Bowles is the best Heating and Cooling company I have ever dealt with. I had been experiencing issues with my AC system (brand new) ever since I had moved into my home. After repeated trying to get warranty service and repair done with the folks I purchased my home from, I turned to Nathan at Bowles. Just had to get a new Air and Heating system and Bowles was absolutely GREAT!! I do in home child care and was in a very difficult situation. They came out by afternoon yesterday after I called in the morning and left me a window unit. Then were back early this morning. Two wonderful techs worked all day and left just minutes ago. They worked hard all day and were so friendly, polite and efficient. Before leaving they took me through everything and said next week someone will come back to check all is well, but to call if I had any problems. They were really Awesome!! Replaced my HVAC at my house.They showed up on schedule and got right to work removing my old system including the condenser from the roof.They installed new furnace and new condenser which I had them move to ground.They ran new refrigerant lines for system and installed new electronic t-stat.They finished in a day.They tested the system no problems.Then cleaned up.Rechecked everything one last time.Nathan Bowles came out a few days later checked their work.When Nathan tested the t-stat found a slight problem with it.Will replace it this tuesday on final inspection. read more
