Once you get over the initial culture shock, you'll realize that J&A offers friendly service, good food, and a fun time. My experiences playing sand volleyball or singing karaoke here have allowed me to get to know a few of the regulars and John (the J in J&A). This is a family run place with some genuinely nice people. I enjoy the hot tots, sandwiches, and burgers. I've also had a pretty good breakfast here when I was trying to soak up a little alcohol from the night before. This isn't the place for date night or a low key cocktail, but it is definitely worth checking out if you're hoping to pound a few drinks, chow on fried goodies, and have a few laughs.
